Name: AthenaBreed: pittie mixAge: 6 years oldKids: over 12Dogs: YesCats: Selective Beautiful Miss Athena is in search of her forever home! At 6 years young, Athena just wants a place she can call her own. Athena promises to be your best friend and give you lots of love and affection. If you are looking for a sweet, cuddly middle-aged pup, Athena is your girl! This pretty little lady is currently hanging out in foster with her foster mom, canine, and feline foster siblings, patiently awaiting her forever home! Athena loves chasing her tennis balls, is housebroken, and takes treats very gently while working on her commands. Though Athena does like cats, she tends to like them a bit too much, so she would need to go to a home with a cat that will set some boundaries with Miss Athena when they've had enough of all her love. Athena is spayed, UTD on her vaccinations, and microchipped. Story
NOTE: Please email jpegs60@gmail.com if interested. We don’t know what breed Joni is. What we do know is she’s an absolute jewel. Joni loves everyone she meets and loves attention. She loves playing with the other foster dogs in her home. She is great on a leash and an excellent rider. She is pretty energetic but after a good tussle with another dog or a walk, she is ready to settle in for some cuddle time. She is estimated at two years old and weighs approximately 40 pounds. She’s a perfect size! She doesn’t live with cats but showed no interest in a friend’s cats when she visited for two hours. She might need a home without toddlers because she might knock them down in her excitement. She is protective of her food around other dogs so will need to be fed in a crate or separate room if her new home has another dog. If you’re looking for a happy and loving companion, Joni could be the one for you. She is fully vetted and ready to travel. Her adoption fee is $375 which includes the transportation fee.

Story
Tango is one handsome dude and he is proud of it.  He is also very grateful to have been saved/rescued and in a loving foster home.  He has been a good guest and causes no problems for his foster mom. Tango is 3 years old and 60 pounds.  He was found on the streets of San Antonio and taken to our very high kill shelter.  Their faces just begged to be saved so we pulled them. His behavior and temperament has been mild and calm.  He likes to go for walks and walks well on a leash.  Tango actually wants to do whatever you want to do, he is just happy to hang around you.  We believe he would do best in a home as the only dog because he has a little temper tantrum when having to share his foster mom. Tango rides well in cars without getting car sick.  We transport across the United States.  Thank you for looking.   ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         November 3, 2024, 9:15 am

Story
This animal is being fostered in the South but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, (www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Meet the President of the Ittie Bittie Pittie Committee, East TN Chapter - Spring Roll!! 😍 This petite girl was picked up by another one of our other dog’s foster parents (even though they are already completely full at their home) because they couldn’t bear to see her abandoned. We offered to help if they were able to continue to foster, even short term, and they said yes! Spring Roll was producing milk when she was picked up so we believe she recently had puppies but they were nowhere to be found. Witnesses say they saw someone dump her out of a car 😭 How can people be so cruel?!? So far, Spring Roll has been a perfect little lady in her foster home and has done well with the 4 year old human she met as well as 3 other dogs in the foster home. She will be ready to go home after she is spayed. Website: WoofWoofFosters.org
