Story
This sweet girl is one of many dogs who's fate it was to be abandoned here in the south. People are throwing sweet dogs out day and night in this economy. Ducky is one of the lucky ones that was picked up by a kind stranger and brought to a rescue that was able to find a foster! She is Spayed and UTD on required vaccines. Ducky likes other dogs but is rambunctious. She loves everyone she meets so older children would be fine. She is close to housetrained and will just need to get comfortable with her new routine. If you would like to add this sweet and very pretty girl to your forever family, please email omlc7@hotmail.com and we will send our info and app. If you do not see a response, be sure and check you junk folder.

We will reach out to you as soon as your application is processed. Thank you in advance for your patience. All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, some pups stay local in Memphis. Many others travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Pet Express Transport (https://petexpresstupelo.wordpress.com) for our Nashville, Knoxville and New England adoptions. For our Midwest adopters, we have our own private transport. Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff. Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding. Please LIKE Woof River on Facebook! Nova may be three-years-old and 60 pounds, but she's still a puppy at heart! Rescued from Georgia, this goofy girl is outgoing, social and loves to play with toys. Nova is a happy, curious dog working on her obedience training, which will be important to her success in her new home. Due to her exuberant personality, we recommend a home with children over 12. Nova is quite the diva and simply cannot share her spotlight; she needs to be your one and only pet. If you're looking for a dog who will always keep a smile on your face, Nova is your girl!

Story
NOTE: Please email jpegs60@gmail.com if interested. We don’t know what breed Joni is. What we do know is she’s an absolute jewel. Joni loves everyone she meets and loves attention. She loves playing with the other foster dogs in her home. She is great on a leash and an excellent rider. She is pretty energetic but after a good tussle with another dog or a walk, she is ready to settle in for some cuddle time. She is estimated at two years old and weighs approximately 40 pounds. She’s a perfect size! She doesn’t live with cats but showed no interest in a friend’s cats when she visited for two hours. She might need a home without toddlers because she might knock them down in her excitement. She is protective of her food around other dogs so will need to be fed in a crate or separate room if her new home has another dog. If you’re looking for a happy and loving companion, Joni could be the one for you. She is fully vetted and ready to travel. Her adoption fee is $375 which includes the transportation fee.

Pocket sized bulldog mix with great Corgi type ears! Very friendly girl who listens well. She is good in her crate. Loves to go for long walks and car rides! Ginny is not high energy. She would do well with an older person/persons who has a fenced yard where Ginny could get out of the house to take care of "business"
