Story
Hunk has not had an easy life, and for that he was almost killed at the shelter.  Poor Hunk was completely shut down and terrified at the shelter, and thus responded with aggression. He sat for WEEKS never leaving his kennel because they were so afraid of him. It took our trainer and I 5 minutes and he was out wagging his tail. Hunk just needed a chance! He has been in training program since coming out of the shelter, and we have learned so much about him. Hunk LOVES to play. He is wicked smart and eager to please his owner. He wants an owner who will continue to lead him, support him, and set boundaries. Hunk does have dog aggression adn thus cannot interact with other dogs. He must live in a dog free home. He is 65 pounds of white potato that will love you until the end of time. He would be best wihtout young children, and preferably a female owner. (men can be scary).  If you made it this far, thank you. I know this dog has a lot of "red flags" and will require a very specific home, but he deserves it. Hunk is just an unsure muscular goofball that will thrive with the correct person. Please reach out if you think that might be you.    Thank you for wanting to adopt from Hank's Legacy Foundation. Story
BLUE is a young adventurous soul. He was once named goofy by his foster family for his playful and innocent nature. He is 2 years old now. He is a happy dog and loves to run and go on walks. BLUE loves people and other dogs too. He knows how to sit. He waits for his food if you tell him to sit. He is joyfully expressive with everything he does and it’s so endearing. He would do well in a home where he gets a consistent schedule. He thrives with structure. He is easy on walks and with other dogs. He really is the whole package. We have investred in getting him trained. He is also Crate trained and house trained. He is fully vetted and very healthy. He was recently featured on The Dodo with our friends at The Animal Rescue Mission. He is a true love!! He does have canine companions at his foster home and he can't wait to be a part of a forever family. To meet or adopt BLUE please ask us for an application at thecanineconditionfoundation@gmail.com

Story
Penny is pure love and a dream. Penny has the cutest eyebrows and it makes her so expressive when she looks into your eyes. She just wants to snuggle with her humans and give and receive love from everyone she meets. She’s great with all humans, including kids. She is house trained and great with basic commands. She loves to sunbathe, lounge, and get belly rubs. If you want a loyal, mellow, cuddle buddy, she is your girl! A perfect home might be one with no other pets to start. Other dogs in close proximity make her nervous. We are working on some training and slow introductions and Penny is able to be around and live with other dogs and may one day be okay to trust them in close proximity to her. But she would also love to be your only one! She is a great companion for a laid back lifestyle. Penny travels well in a car and enjoys going on walks and watching movies on the couch with you. To inquire or meet Penny fill out our application OR email us at contactus@thecaninecondition.org

Story
Mia is 7 years old and the most delightful little pibble you’ll ever meet. She is only with us because her family lost their home. She loves long walks, playing with her toys, and most of all, having someone sit with her on the couch and snuggle with her. She’s in good health, but our vet does think she needs to lose a little fluff, so she is eating a special low-fat food to help her lose a few pounds.  She adores everyone and is already vying for the title of "happiest pup" here at the Ranch. She’s the one for you if you love silly, fun-loving pittys. Because we require visits here to our rescue and home checks, adoptions are limited to the Los Angeles, Ca area. You can see more pictures and videos of Mia on our Instagram page @thebrittanyfoundation.

Story
Who we mostly call Baby San will be two years old on February 4th, 2025. She was the only female born in a litter of 7 puppies. San is very intelligent, curious, joyful, loving, athletic, spirited and bossy! She has lots of energy and loves to run, hike and explore. She loves playing with other dogs. She’s grown up since birth in an environment that has allowed her to socialize with many other dogs. San has worked as a therapy dog to children through organizations centered around foster youth. She’s a brilliant therapy dog and loves this work. Hoping to find a home for San with humans that love to spend time outdoors who can give her the access to nature that she really needs to thrive. She’s highly intelligent and has working dog genetics and a natural desire to work for her person/people. Would highly encourage working on training skills with her. San is such a special dog. Hoping to find her the perfect family and forever home.

Story
Hello, Ranger is a very sweet dog. My wife and I acquire him from a rescue in Lancaster in 2020. Ranger is 7 years old and 10 months. We have come to the very hard decision to rehome because of multiple reasons. Some of which are: we now have an infant and Ranger is not self aware when he becomes excited, and now that our baby is crawling I have to think about the safety of our child. We are looking for someone that is able to give him a lot of time and exercise. He is dog reactive, but we've had little success acclimating him to other dogs, so it is a possibility but will just take a lot of hard work and consistency. He is very stubborn, but very sweet. He is not registered, but does have a microchip. He has been an inside dog. We call him a dessert dog because he likes the heat and does not do well in cold. He would do well in a house with older children, he thinks he is a small dog but he's not so no little ones. We call him our doof.
