Story
Gemma  is a stunning beautiful Blue/Grey spayed American Staffordshire Bully. Gemma is just 47lbs and 4 years old and has been completely vetted! So she is on the small side of this breed.  Looking for a loving, sweet indoor and out door adventure partner, then look no further.. Gemma loves going for walks, doing zoomies in the yard and going out to new restaurants with her humans. She knows how to sit, shake, touch, go to place, leave it and when called by her name comes instantly. She is trained to walk on the left side of her human and never pulls. She never wanders off and stays very close to her humans. She loves going to the beach where she can run on the sand as fast as she can. Her energy level is medium. She can lay on the couch and snuggle all day or go for a couple of walks. Every night by 7:00 she is asleep on the couch and ready for bed.  She sleeps in her crate upstairs with her humans. She is potty trained but needs to go out every 2 to 3 hours except at night when she's in her crate.  She is good with other dogs but must be monitored when playing.  Gemma likes to run the fastest and play the hardest.  Gemma would do best in an adult home and is very loyal to her peeps. Breed experience is a plus too... Tracy Friedman 949-842-2517 http://greendogfoundation.com/October 24, 2024, 6:19 pm

Story
Bo or Beau (meaning in French 'good-looking') would be a handsome complement to the right family. He is needing someone who is confident, looking to get involved and show him the boundaries and define the expectations, who is able to structure healthy interactions. Beau is a powerful dog in mind and spirit, and he is looking for the right fit - an assertive pack leader to bond with who provides him with guidance and the needed, positive assurance and reinforcement. Beau is a Good Boy wanting to please his human and, of course, it must be a symbiotic relationship. Beau, like many children, will put it to the test to see what's allowed and if he can make more decisions on his own. His pack leader will help Beau navigate these decisions, so he feels comfortable while facing certain situations such as dealing with other dogs or door rushing. Energy control and responsiveness is on the forefront as Beau learns the dynamics of his new relationships and proper introductions - it gets better with every encounter when the pack leader understands his beautiful personality and temperament, staying mindful of guiding Beau to be his very best with people or dogs in social settings. He does well with other dog introductions when given enough time to know them, but the most guidance needed will be when meeting dominant or stressed dogs, particularly other assertive males. If an encounter becomes tense, Beau will easily go into a crate or dog run to rebalance; he can be crated next to other dogs without incident or reactivity, it serves as a den to calm and adjust him. A few times he was confronted with a dominant male where separation was appropriate, and his trainer was able to leash and bring him away without a struggle or argument. Beau has a transition coach who will be available by appointment to share with his adopter the key points to structuring a positive outcome. Training may refer to the dog but you'll agree that a big part is for the benefit of a pack leader who recognizes how to face the phases of development and growth. The lifelong commitment between the two is dependent on building a solid foundation. And if there are other dogs, Beau's playfulness and adaptability will require skilled management, patience, and time to integrate the pack. Beau is up to date on his shots, neutered, microchipped, and ready for his special meet & greet day with a potential fur family. He thrives on a natural, whole raw meat and food regimen. Also included in his adoption are two consultations discussing his nutrition and biological balance. Beau is in Menifee, CA. Story
Meet Buddy! Buddy is a two-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix ( maybe mixed with Husky due to his beautiful blue and green eyes). He is the happiest boy with an incredible disposition. Buddy loves going on long walks and just loves being with his “people”. He has spent several months living with a trainer and several other dogs and has done amazing. He loves the water and other dogs. He is now in a foster with two other dogs and doing well. Once he’s in a home with a yard, he can decompress and play and let out his energy. Buddy has had extensive training and a trainer will come to the adopter's house to work with the family and show what he can do. He would do best with an active family. He was rescued from the Riverside shelter where he shared his kennel with another dog. He’s a love bug that is so deserving of his loving forever home. Buddy is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, had a blood panel and a full clean bill of health. If you think you are the right family for Buddy, please submit a completed adoption application found under the forms tab so that we can schedule a meet and greet. He can also be found on all our social media pages IG: @Doggie_Bonez_Inc_ and Facebook: Doggie Bonez. If adoption isn't an option, please consider fostering one of our pups. We are a volunteer-run non-profit dog rescue and always welcome new short and/or long-term doggie foster families. We greatly appreciate the help and time of our fosters. You provide all the love, comfort, and safety of a home and we supply you with everything else you may need, dog food, dog bed, toys, medical attention (if needed), etc. If you are interested please visit www.doggiebonez.com to see all of our available dogs who need a foster family while waiting for their fur-ever home and complete the foster application.November 2, 2024, 7:31 pm

Story
Affectionate and LovingWedge is an amazing 10-month-old with so much potential to be a great dog for any family! He does well with older children and other friendly dogs. He enjoys rough-housing with his foster sister and plays very nicely with the family's older dog.  Wedge is a snuggler and loves couch privileges while still doing very well in his crate.  His current foster family fell in love with him super fast and are absolutely heartbroken to have to let him go. He gets uncomfortable around strangers and is working with a trainer to help him gain confidence and work through whatever happened to him before he came to us. The trainer is positive that Wedge's training be successful. He just needs a home with stability and patience.  His current foster has a busy schedule and young children which aren't conducive to his need for consistency. He just needs more time to settle in, as all rescue dogs do, to feel secure, and gain confidence, and he will be an amazing addition to any Loving family! The foster family does think Wedge would do best with older kids. He loves being played with and loved on. Another dog in a secure backyard to make Wedge feel safe would also be ideal. He's an active puppy that would benefit greatly from walks.  He is best in a calmer home as he does have some fear issues so a family that has people coming and going may be too overstimulating for Wedge, Wedge needs people to be introduced to him in a way that makes him feel safe. We do encourage Wedge's adopter to provide him with structure, stability, consistency, tons of love, and continued training to set him up for success. His trainer will help Wedge's new family with 2 training sessions at no charge.   If you are interested in meeting Wedge, please submit a completed adoption application found under the forms tab. This way, we can schedule a meet and greet. He can also be found on our social media pages IG: @Doggie_Bonez_Inc_ and Facebook: Doggie Bonez.   Adoption fees for puppies under 1 year are $500, for young to adult dogs $400, and for our senior dogs $300. All fees include all vaccinations, fecal testing, wellness exams, microchipping, and spaying or neutering.   If adoption isn't an option, please consider fostering one of our  pups.
