Story
Lilac is a sweet pup with an affectionate nature. She has a lot of personality in her small frame and is quick to bring smiles to the people around her. Lilac loves to romp around and can be somewhat clumsy in her enthusiasm. She has been seen sliding passed her toys in the yard as she dives towards them with exuberance. Not only is it fun to play with her, but it is also fun to watch. She adores people and would love to cuddle up with someone on the couch for quiet time. Lilac would be great for a family that wants a loving, goofy companion. She does have a shy side and would benefit from a family that can help her build confidence while out on neighborhood walks. - Sweet- Settles in an office space- Walks loosely on leashAdopters must be at least 18 years old with valid state-issued identification. Story
Looking for a loyal, loving companion who’s always up for an adventure? Meet Dolly, a 3-year-old bundle of joy who’s ready to bring a whole lot of love into your life! Dolly is a true people pup—she adores humans of all ages, including older kids, and has a heart as big as her smile. She’s happiest by your side, whether it’s lounging on the couch, splashing in the water (she’s a big fan of pool and lake days!), or going for walks to explore the world together. Not only is Dolly sweet, but she’s also smart! She’s a fast learner with basic training already under her collar. She’s crate trained, and eager to keep learning and make you proud. While Dolly would thrive as the only dog in the home, she’s selective about her doggy friends and enjoys playdates with her chosen canine pals. Cats, however, are not her cup of tea—she’s more of a “dog-only zone” kind of girl. Dolly is looking for a family who will love her for the amazing, affectionate companion she is. In return, she promises unconditional love, loyalty, and lots of tail wags. ##2047244##

Story
***Potential adopters must fill out the questionnaire at the end of the bio and forward it to graciabutter@gmail.com. Meet Bruce! Bruce is a 1 year old, 75lb, happy-go-lucky, staffy mix. You would never know by his demeanor that, until he was rescued, he lived in a dirty crate with no bedding for most of his short life. He is a happy boy and he thinks that he is a lap dog. Bruce gets along well with other dogs once he gets to know them. He currently lives in a foster home with dogs ranging in size from 5lbs to 75 lbs and he is gentle with the littles. When meeting a new dog, he can get a bit over-stimulated so he needs to be introduced slowly. Bruce doesn’t know his size and can be a bull in a china shop so we feel that he would do best in a home without young children and with someone who has experience with large breed dogs. He’s a diamond in the rough with so much potential to be your perfect companion. This goofy boy will definitely melt your heart and give you years of big sloppy kisses. Bruce is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Animal Rescue Recon ensures that each dog is current on its vaccinations, has been or will be spayed or neutered, and is microchipped to help keep pets out of the shelters and get them back home where they belong. ****Answers to the questionnaire must be emailed to GraciaButter@gmail.com. Please tell us a bit about yourself/family • What city do you live in? • Do you rent or own? • Any children in the home? What ages? List all family members living in the home • What is your work schedule? Family schedule? • How many hours per day would the pet be left alone? • Where is the pet kept when left alone? • Where does the pet sleep? • Any other pets in the home? If so, what type/breed? • How often will the dog be exercised? • If the dog becomes ill or injured are you financially prepared to provide medical care? • Are you prepared to care for this dog for its life span of 10+ years? • Do you have a training plan? Please explain. • Do you have a plan in place if something happens and you can no longer care for the dog? • Before adoption, an up-close video of your fenced yard will be required - the entire perimeter including gates and the bottom of the fencing. The yard must be free of foxtails and fully secured. • Home check may be performed • If "meet & greet" is scheduled, all household members, dogs included, must be present. Our adoption fee is $350 The fee covers having the dog fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.

Story
Willow is looking for a person who understands a drivey bully breed/ bulldog temperament like hers, who loves the quirks of a bull dog, The Willow situation: Willow has lived with a wonderful family for a couple of years now. She is still in need of a home who is ideal for her and her special needs but she has come a very very long way. She is deaf and has one eye, she has been through a lot of personal training, is also trained in hand signs and to use a stim collar (vibrate recall) etc.In the RIGHT situation with routine she mostly lays around all day, and is an easy bull dog 90%. She needs a home without other animals and while she absolutely loves kids, she is too strong for them at times. This may seem silly, but the problem is that while she is VERY tolerant of kids, she is also an extreme leg humper🤦🏼‍♀️.. yup! And sometimes she gets super excited and will grab onto a leg and scratch you up if you don't correct her and kiddos aren't strong enough to do this. She is very very strong. In a home with other animals she is very different- she has high drive and becomes neurotic and overstimulated and very difficult in a home with other animals. In the wrong home she can be difficult to manage so we are looking for the right situation now that we have her figured out. Crate trained, potty trained, great temperament. She thrives and requires a strong calm structure and leadership. She can be very submissive to her people but can also be pushy and dominant if you aren't managing her properly. It is hard to get her attention with her hearing special needs and loss of an eye, so her person needs to continue to work on her on e collar recall/ hand signals. She has already received lots of training. We want to ensure that her adoptive home will love and keep her for life.🐾 Go to www.k9ppr.org to send us an adoption application and tell us all about you and the home you would give sweet Willow! #k9ppr loves their bulldogs! Opt to adopt!-Treadmill trained-Can get too excited (overstimulate), like many bully breeds, so she thrives and requires a strong calm structure and leadership.- Too much prey drive for cats, and while she can now be around other dogs in a controlled setting, she should not live with other dogs. - Can be very submissive to her people but can also be pushy and dominant if you aren't managing her properly. - She is Active but calms down and chills. - She loves kids but right now we are looking for an adult home It is hard to get her attention with her hearing special needs and loss of an eye, so her person needs to continue to work on her on e collar recall/ hand signals. She has already received intensive training, and is awesome with her trainer, who will give her adopter free training. We want to ensure that her adoptive home will love and keep her for life which the communication benefits from training will help with.Being special needs her adoption fee is just a donation of your choice towards her medical costs with the agreement that you do some free training with her trainer. However please note that bull dogs are not low cost dogs to own!🐾 Go to www.k9ppr.org to send us an adoption application and tell us all about you and the home you would give sweet Willow! #k9ppr loves their bulldogs!
