Story
How this pet arrived: Galileo was brought in by Humane Law Enforcement on August 9, 2024. Why this pet is the one for you: Meet Galileo, the ultimate "Velcro Dog" who's ready to be your loyal partner in crime. This affectionate boy thrives on companionship and wants nothing more than to be by your side, no matter the adventure. Galileo has a playful side and loves tug-of-war. He's a quiet gentleman when left alone in the home and his enthusiasm when you return is a testament to his love for people. This friendly guy loves attention and is a sucker for belly rubs! He'll need some work on general manners such as leash training and not jumping up out of excitement - he doesn't realize he's a big guy! Because of this, he's looking for a home without small children. Galileo also has a couple of medical conditions regarding his back legs that we would love to talk to you about, but they aren't stopping him from living life to the fullest. If you're ready to show this stellar dog that he's not alone in the universe, Galileo is waiting for you to help him find his place among the stars!IN FOSTER: This animal's foster is committed to helping them find a new family! To begin the adoption process, please reach out to the foster directly at: Terraseyhun@gmail.com . Primary Color: Brindle Weight: 85 Age: 3yrs 5mths 2wks

Story
Meet Rue! At 8-9 months old, Rue is already an absolute snuggle bug who is sweet and has medium energy for a pup her age! Rue is the perfect mix of playing when the time is right, and relaxing at home with her people. Rue is already potty trained, crate trained, and enjoys sharing her toys and treats with other pups in the house! Rue might need a little help learning to play gently at times, as this big girl doesn’t quite know her own strength yet. If you want to make this dream girl a part of your forever family, please fill out an application on our website! https://www.underdogheroes.org/

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bella aka “Big Mamma” is the perfect couch potato dog. She was a mamma dog late in life and has earned her right to bask in the sunlight and just relax. It is apparent that she did not spend her recent years with humans but probably as a back yard breeder dog. It took Bella a little while before she learned to appreciated all the fun that a relationship with people can bring...like treats and toys. Once she trusts you Bella loves to cuddle and accept petting and also loves to get people to throw her ball. She loves toys and treats and can entertain herself very well. She is crate trained and seems to enjoy her down time with a good bone to chew. Bella has no allergies or food sensitivities. Bella is a big girl so a strong handler is key. She has no interest in sharing her home with another dog, after giving birth to all those big puppies who could blame her. Bella walks well on a leash and can be dog reactive, but easily managed with a strong leader. If you have a soft spot near the TV that needs filling, Bella is your girl. Please consider sponsoring Bella with either a one-time or monthly tax-deductible donation. Your donation will help It's The Pits with day-to-day care, including food, vaccinations, flea treatment, treats and toys. Click on the Sponsor This Pet link above to make your donation today. Story
How this pet arrived: Bullseye was brought in by his previous owner on January 15, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Bullseye is a handsome and affectionate guy who's ready to start the new year in a loving home! He's full of energy and thrives in an active family that can provide plenty of enrichment and exercise. Bullseye adores people and never holds back on giving kisses. However, he can be impulsive and mouthy at times, so his new family should be prepared to manage these behaviors with patience and positive reinforcement training. Bullseye needs a home with children aged 10 and older and would like to be the only dog in the home. If there is another dog, he will require a dog-to-dog introduction as he can be a bit coarse with social skills and guards his food from others. Bullseye is a very affectionate boy that just needs some guidance. With the right environment and support, Bullseye has incredible potential to be the best companion. Bring a leash, collar, and a heart full of love-Bullseye might just be your perfect match! Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Black Weight: 55.2 Age: 1yrs 7mths 2wks
