Two-year-old Tito is healthy, potty trained, walks well on leash, and loves learning new tricks. Long hikes on the weekend get Tito’s energy out, and he spends his weekdays napping on blankets near his foster mom. Tito is easy-and naturally quiet. He rarely barks, but makes piggy snorts and purrs throughout the day. (We think he’s 1/3 dog, 1/3 cat, and 1/3 pig!) Tito was shy when he arrived at the shelter, but warmed up with treats and attention. He bonds tightly to any gentle person who shows him patience and love. Once you’re his person, sweet Tito enjoys giving kisses, getting couch cuddles, and making you laugh with silly bum-wiggles! Tito loves other dogs, and easily made friends in shelter playgroups. He will be a fantastic brother for another dog. Tito needs a dog-savvy home, ideally with a yard so Tito can roll around on the grass. (As we said - part pig.) We recommend a home without small children; Tito seems to like kids, but can be a bowling ball when he gets the zoomies. He needs a patient family that commits to positive training methods - this gentle boy needs spoiling, not discipline! Howdy! I'm Emilio! I'm a 3 year old, neutered male, 60 pound Chocolate American Staffordshire Terrier / Husky mix. I may look like a big rowdy boy but I'm a big softy at heart. I'm as cuddly and huggable as can be! My ideal home will be with adults only who are ready to devote lots of time and energy giving me love, training and exercise. I recently went to my first event and all of my PHS friends are so proud of me! I get a little uneasy when meeting new people or when I'm around bigger crowds. I gingerly said hello to a few members of the public and even let them pet me! I know one day I'll be the life of the party. I just have to keep practicing! My foster family absolutely loves me! Here's what they have to say: 'Emilio is a joy to have in our home. He is a little shy at first but once past that, he is the sweetest, most loving, cuddly, and playful boy. He is great with our dog Margo, our cat, and all other dogs we meet outside the house. We leave him loose in the house with Margo and he hasn't chewed or destroyed anything. He doesn't go in the trash or on the counters. Potty training is almost nailed down. He is really good with sit, stay, down, and shake commands and eats his meals in the crate with the door shut(we are working on crate training). He LOVES walks (especially when he can run) snuggles, sunbathing, play time and chew toys. His recall off leash is good. He has a lot of puppy play energy and would be good in an active home or a home with another dog he can be friends with.'
