Story
Yuji is a big old goofball who loves rolling around on a nice grassy lawn. He loves everyone he meets and is always ready for adventure. Yuji loves to run around with zoomies in his yard before retiring back to the couch for a nice nap. Check out Yuji's cutest moments playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVb0fq1O6CwkPbzR2tCqGBBDWIMflKp6C Yuji was unfortunately hit by a car in Manteca and when his owners were contacted to let them know their family dog was injured and in the shelter, they chose to surrender him over the phone instead of taking him home. Since the shelter has no veterinary resources, he had to find rescue right away or be euthanized. Better World Rescue took this sweet boy in and we are so happy that we did. He is great in the car, sweet with kids, and loves to lounge around with his humans. He has now recovered fully from his injuries and has a clean bill of health for adoption. Yuji is house-trained, crate-trained and knows some basic commands. Yuji would be easiest as an only dog as he can guard food and toys from other dogs. But he can live with other dogs in an experienced home with slow introductions. He is not recommended to live with cats as he has moderate prey drive. He is working on walking a bit more calmly on leash, but seeing this happy boy prance around is actually pretty cute. Yuji is microchipped, neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. Give this sweet boy his forever home today! Fill out an application at: https://betterworldrescue.org/adoption-application/ One of our volunteers will reach out within one business day to set up a meet and greet and answer any questions.

Story
Meet Baby, a puppy with a heartwarming story. Found abandoned behind a dumpster, she was severely emaciated and weighed only 9 pounds. Despite her challenging start, Baby has transformed into a healthy and happy puppy. Baby's difficult journey has left her mostly blind. She still gets around fine once she learns her surroundings. Baby is potty trained but she has an unknown bladder condition that causes occasional accidents without her knowledge/control. Check out Baby's video playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVb0fq1O6CwmRUoQRhq6RxupyxpeETsGn In terms of personality, Baby is a playful and vocal pup. She loves games like tug o' war, fetch, and running in the yard. Social and friendly, she gets along well with children, cats, and other dogs. Baby is the perfect addition to any family, bringing joy and warmth. Her favorites include a variety of toys such as rope toys, squeaky stuffed toys, bones, and Kongs. With a moderate energy level, Baby enjoys daily walks, playtime with other dogs, and exploring her surroundings with a love for sniffing adventures. Cuddling is one of Baby's cherished activities. She adores snuggling up next to you on the couch or bed, reveling in the affection she receives. However, due to her past experiences, Baby struggles with separation anxiety. A loving family or individual who can provide near-constant companionship would be ideal for her. Whether you're a family or an individual seeking a loyal and affectionate companion, Baby is a versatile match. She is waiting for her forever home, eager to share her love and companionship. Could you be the one to provide Baby with the loving home she deserves? Baby is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. All Better World Rescue dogs qualify for complimentary private and/or group training to help ensure a successful adoption. Story
**Ronda needs an adopter or foster ASAP!!** Ronda needs a very special home. In fact, she needs the home of an angel. This fearful little girl has been through so much and is absolutely terrified of new people and new places. She will need a very patient, loving home in order to feel safe. When Ronda does not feel safe she tends to cower and corner herself for protection. She opens up a bit more in homes with other animals, and does absolutely amazing with both dogs and cats of all sizes. They help her to feel secure. Ronda is a couch potato who is very low energy. She does not particularly like walks and would be much happier to lay nearby you or her doggy friends. She likes toys, but has a tendency to tear them up so does best with indestructible brands. With the level of fear that Ronda experiences, we suspect there is either a history of abuse or else severe under-socialization at a critical age. Despite her fear, Ronda is a very gentle girl and does not wish any of the scary things harm. She simply prefers to avoid the new humans until they show that they are not a threat. She will allow trusted humans to pet her and hold her, but it does take time to build trust. Ronda is spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccinations. All Better World Rescue dogs qualify for complimentary private and/or group training to help ensure a successful adoption. If you would like to meet Ronda to see if she is a good fit for your family, please fill out our short adoption application: www.betterworldrescue.org/adoption-application Upon receipt of your application, one of our passionate volunteers will call you within one business day to answer any questions and schedule a meet.

Story
This nice dog is Rookie. He is about 4 years old and weighs 38 pounds. He is a Micro Bully mix. The owner was told when he got Rookie that he was a Poodle and Micro Bully, but if he is mixed with Poodle, it is not obvious. He has a long body so possibly has some Basset Hound in there, but who knows. His prior home had him living with a large Shepherd, but he has never been around cats. He was comfortable around children (lived with age 7 and older). When asked about house training, owner said that when Rookie came inside he did not have accidents, so he definitely prefers to potty outside. He may need to learn the rules in his new home though. Rookie has been updated on all his vaccinations, microchipped and will be neutered on 11/19. $300.00 adoption helps us with those costs. Please visit our website www.petsnpals.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.
