At the age of about 9 weeks, Ruly was rescued from imminent euthanasia at a shelter. Now six months old and weighs 46 pounds. She is highly intelligent with a lot of exuberant energy, too much for her guardians who rescued her, they are both of an advanced age. They love her very much but cannot satisfy her need for exercise and therefore they are looking for a new home for her that is more suitable to her needs. She would do great in agility training or be a great running or hiking buddy.She is very sweet and loves everyone, human or canine. She wants to jump on and play with everyone and has been on six-mile hikes without really tiring. She has been through a five-week puppy training class, plus four visits to her owners’ house by professional trainers and understands basic commands—sit, down, stay, come, and heel. She is house- and crate-trained. She is highly intelligent. She needs a family with young, vigorous adults with no children younger than older teenagers. Another dog would be good. She has never interacted with cats. She is fully vaccinated, spayed, chipped, and registered with LA County Animal Control. Adopted Canelo from the shelter when he was two months. Fell for the little pup and now I don’t live at home and can’t take him with me. He is now two years old. I’m looking for someone who can take care of him with lots of love and big space to run around and play fetch he loves squeaker toys. He has some patches of fur missing because my neighbor started spraying bleach on my poor pup because the way he barks at him. He only understands in Spanish as of right now and knows the common commands. He is very territorial and will bark at people that show up to our home. He isn’t good with other dogs because he was attacked when he was a puppy and we were told to not take him out because he could catch parvo and he was not socialized like he should have been. I want him to get a better home with way more space than what he has now and that will love him more than I did. He is very lovable and vocal just need someone that has time to teach him the be the best boy ever because I couldn’t.

Hunk has not had an easy life, and for that he was almost killed at the shelter. Poor Hunk was completely shut down and terrified at the shelter, and thus responded with aggression. He sat for WEEKS never leaving his kennel because they were so afraid of him. It took our trainer and I 5 minutes and he was out wagging his tail. Hunk just needed a chance! He has been in training program since coming out of the shelter, and we have learned so much about him. Hunk LOVES to play. He is wicked smart and eager to please his owner. He wants an owner who will continue to lead him, support him, and set boundaries. Hunk does have dog aggression adn thus cannot interact with other dogs. He must live in a dog free home. He is 65 pounds of white potato that will love you until the end of time. He would be best wihtout young children, and preferably a female owner. (men can be scary). If you made it this far, thank you. I know this dog has a lot of "red flags" and will require a very specific home, but he deserves it. Oliver was left abandoned about 3-4 months old at my work, tied up with no note or water. He was found where only staff would see or the pack of coyotes. Luckily we found him first. Oliver is so loving, so loyal, loves to play, hike, loves people, dogs cats and horses and sleeps great! He has had professional training, house trained, crate trained, he takes showers! He has great references regarding his temperament and personality. Unfortunately, he is not allowed under my lease and Ive been risking it. He also needs to be with a person or family that lets him be a dog and have fun. He does prefer to have a buddy if possible.

Stella is an amazing dog! She is super friendly with people and very easy going at home, happy to relax but excited to go for walks. She is about 3.5 years old/58 pounds, her breed mix is a guess, Staff/Shepherdare the breeds that seem accurate but we don't know for sure. She has an amazing temperament and is very mature and balanced. She walks nicely on leash, lives in apartment with her foster parents and is used to be home alone with no issues. She is crate trained, house trained and very well behaved around the house. We can't say enough good things about this girl - she is a real gem and would do well in many different type homes. If you are looking for an athletic, very social and friendly dog, she is surely the one! This beautiful guy is Chili who was rescued in the knick of time from the Downey shelter in LA.Chili is very sweet and playful, but can easily get over stimulated and gets very excited when meeting a new person and starts jumping. Chili is in need of someone who can give him the exercise he needs and can handle his very exuberant personality. Therefore we are looking for a very calm, alpha human who can be a leader to him, preferably with Boxer experience. We are looking for a home for him where he will be the only pet with no children.
