my pet Mia turns 2 in March, She a friendly and outgoing staffy with a playful personality, She loves going on walks and playing fetch in the Park and is always eager to meet new friends. At home, she is affectionate and loyal and loves to cuddle up on the couch with humans. She is well-trained and knows basic commands like sit, stay and come, while she is generally well-behaved she can sometimes get excited and jump up on visitors, She is also sometimes nervous around loud noises such as fireworks. overall Mia is a lovable and playful companion who would thrive in an active home with a family who can give her plenty of love and attention.

Story
Skye is three years old and loves peanut butter, bananas, and strawberries. She is very curious about her surroundings and is good with children. Her favorite thing to do is play tug of war with one of her toys. Cuddling is her second favorite thing to do with someone. I just want someone to spend time with her. I just acquired a new career and I'm away from home most of the day. I also have some work related travel coming in 2025. I won't have that much time to spend with her. Overall, she is a good dog. If anyone can take her in and give her the love attention she needs, I will be grateful. Thank you.

Story
I am looking for an active and loving home that will take him to the beach, go hiking, and give him the on-on-one time that he deserves. He is 5y/o, 70lbs, intact, and trained to a pretty high level. He is good with kids, and other dogs when introduced appropriately. He loves to swim and go on hikes, he has a natural protective streak that you can engage and disengage, but is still very social. Who ever does take him home will get free training for the rest of his life.

Email for details: Roxi is available for adoption in a foster home. If you're interested in adopting, please email us at sdcadoptions@sdhumane.org or call us at 619 299 7012. How Roxi arrived: Roxi was brought in by their previous owner. At SDHS:Roxi has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered and is now ready for her new home! Why Roxi might be the one for you:Lovely Roxi lived with one family her entire life before they moved out of the country and were forced to surrender her. She's now looking for her next home filled with love, comfy spaces to nap and walks around the neighborhood. According to her foster and volunteers who have taken her on outings, she is sweet and mellow, easy to care for, nonreactive to dogs or people while out and about and fully potty trained. She loves attention, belly rubs are her favorite and for any and all love/affection, she is all in. She's also quite active for her age! Squeaky toys are her favorite. She doesn't tire easily on walks and will even have little bursts of energy where she runs or rolls on the grass. Our staff love caring for her and seeing her little tippy taps as she greets them. If you're a one-pet type of person, Roxi is your girl! See why we adore her by visiting her. Email or call us with the above info to arrange a meeting. Story
Meet Oreo, a loving and sweet dog. She can be shy at first, but will warm up within minutes and then she is all over you showering you with kisses. She is also great with children and is comfortable with dogs that are not smaller than she is. Ore is leash-friendly and enjoys car rides. It would be great for Ore to find a family with teenagers, as she is very energetic and loves to play with toys, stuffed animals and ropes. Ideally, she should live in a place with a patio. She is in the process of being house-trained. If you are interested in adopting and think you can provide a great home for this pet, please see the contact info below. This is Tony. He is a 6 year old male, neutered who weighs 65 pounds. He is very loving. Wants to be rubbed and cuddle, but also gives you space when you need it. He is able to get along with other dogs, but he hasn’t been around them in a while so this will take a little bit of time. He is not fond of cats, but has been desensitized to the screen door. He is All people. He has never met a stranger! And loves children of all ages. He is gentle with them as well. if you’re looking for a dog that will make you feel loved and who already comes with a great deal of training and knows a great deal of commands fully trained. If you enjoy naps on the couch Tony is your guy. If you have any interest at all please contact me, thank you. Phone number 251-554-6349 Email dent_lacey@yahoo.comNovember 4, 2024, 4:09 pm
