Story
Acacia is a sweet, gentle and submissive girl. She isn’t typically shy when meeting new people but isn’t as excitable as some of the other dogs! She loves to be petted and loved on. Acacia is well mannered. She walks well on a leash, appears to be mostly potty trained and knows the cue “sit”. Acacia has learned that she loves rubber toys and anything that rewards a yummy treat! Acacia seems to have low to medium energy. Though she would love regular walks and playtime she doesn’t seem to be a go go go kind of dog! Acacia has not been reactive towards other dogs in the shelter. She has a friendly and playful demeanor when seeing them but can be intimidated by barky dogs. We can always provide a dog meet and greet if needed! We have enjoyed getting to know Acacia better and cannot wait to see her thrive in a forever home.

Story
Rousey has been a sweet and shy girl during her time in the shelter. She is typically trusting of people but may hesitate to come say hi right away! Rousey had been through a lot in her previous home and we have helped her become more confident with things like walking on a leash and playing. Rousey was beaten up by the other dogs in her previous home - from the sounds of it she was the victim and not the instigator. Rousey has not been reactive towards other dogs in the shelter and tends to be submissive or avoid them. If you are interested in Rousey and have another dog we strongly encourage a dog meet and greet prior to adopting to ensure that Rousey will be comfortable with your dog! Rousey has good manners and is always on her best behavior. She walks great on a leash and knows a couple basic cues. She was potty trained in her previous home but please keep in mind that she will need time to learn your home`s routine! Rousey is pretty chill and prefers to spend one on one time with her people than playing. She loves being praised and petted. If Rousey sounds like she would be a good fit for your home, we would love for you to come by and meet her!

Story
Blair is a very friendly and lovable dude. He just always seems to be having the best time and we love his go lucky personality. Blair has been in the shelter for 36 days, which is far too long! Blair typically has great manners. The only thing Blair is currently working on is his leash walking skills! He can’t help but wiggle when going outside. We have found that he does great with harness leads and is redirected easily! Blair does appear to be potty trained and knows a couple basic cues like “sit” and “shake”. Have we mentioned that Blair is such a loveable dude? He loves all forms of attention, but scratches of his favorite! He has also done well with baths and brushing. Blair has always had a friendly demeanor when seeing the other dogs and usually play bows. We do not know if Blair has lived with other animals, but we can always provide a dog meet and greet prior to adopting! On occasion, the more rambunctious and talkative dogs make him a bit nervous. Blair is active and will be happiest with having a positive outlet for his energy. He loves toys and we see how much he wants to play! Blair really is a good boy. If you feel that your home would be a good fit for Blair, we would love for you to meet him!
