Story
Meet Huanhuan! I first welcomed Huanhuan into my life from a trusted local shelter. He is now 6 years old and has always been a bundle of energy and fun. About Huanhuan: • Age: 6 years old • Personality: Huanhuan is playful and curious, truly embodying the adventurous spirit of a cat. However, he can be a bit shy and wary around strangers, so a gentle introduction is always appreciated. The Reason for Rehoming: Huanhuan grew up with his birth sister, Nana, and for the longest time, they got along well. However, in the past few months, their relationship took a turn. Huanhuan has been persistently chasing and biting Nana, making it stressful for both of them. Nana is a quieter soul who finds it hard to cope with Huanhuan’s relentless energy. It’s heartbreaking, but to ensure the well-being of both cats, I’ve decided it’s best to find Huanhuan a new home where he can be the center of attention without causing distress to another feline companion.

Story
Metta is a 17 year old cat who looks like a kitten and lives next door. She is small and thin. She used to be an indoor cat, but she stopped using her cat box and her owner believes it's a social problem due to one of their two other cats bullying her, a new dog and three young children. They made her an outdoor cat. She came to me begging for water this summer. The neighbors have water and food outside for her, but we have very active racoons that visit every night and I'm sure they eat it. She was also weak and very thin and very hungry, with an abscess on the side of her face. I began feeding her twice a day and almost two months later she is still very hungry and hangs around to be fed. The abscess healed. She loves to be petted and will let me pick her up and cuddle her for a minute or so. I have a video of her purring while I pet her. Winter is coming and I would love to see her in a warm, welcoming home that's not too busy. The neighbors agree.

Story
Melvin is part of a litter born to a stray mom in our backyard in July. We rescued the family in August, and he and his sister Dulcie Mae are now ready to find their forever home. We prefer that these two are adopted together - she is listed here under a different profile but pictured in the last photo (dark grey kitten). Melvin and Dulcie Mae are very playful and are particularly fond of any toys that allow them to jump and run, like feathers on a string. Their ideal home is where they will be kept indoors, living with people who can provide them the ample playtime and attention they deserve to continue to blossom. They are fine with other cats but will probably do best in a home with no more than one other adult cat. They have not been around dogs or children yet. Both are up to date on shots (can provide records from vet) but not yet spayed or neutered due to age. We are seeking a home as we already had 3 adult cats and are keeping their mother and the other kitten.

Story
Mini is 14 years old and still acts youthful. Unfortunately, my son has developed allergies. While she is generally well house trained, she occasionally pees outside of her litter box if it has not been cleaned yet.
