Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Rocket Rescue has adult cats that are seeking a barn or shop situation. These cats are not very social with people and would prefer a “working cat” life with food and shelter. If you have a barn, shop - or even better a heated space for one or more strong, silent types, please let us know! We will help you set up an acclimation space and provide tips on barn cat care. We currently have males and females available. These cats deserve a safe space with support from caring people.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 6, 2024, 12:49 pm

Story
She is a 9 year old cat who was adopted when she was a kitten. She is a sweet (to humans) cat who likes calm people and older (9+) kids who can remain calm around her and just pet her. She has issues with other cats especially males. She fights with them. She hasnt shown any aggression to the females. She also doesn't like dogs (she lives with 2 but doesn't like them and avoids/hides from them). She will do great in a house with no other animals and uses the litter box fine when it's only hers. We've tested the theory and she does fine when it's just her, but behavior wise will potty outside the box if another animal is involved. Health wise she had a seizure as a kitten and has had moments where she acts like she's terrified of the world. I'm not sure if that's caused by the other animals or her own health. Otherwise she is healthy with no restrictions like that. We really just want her to go to a loving home. We know she's older but she's got so much love left to give.

Story
Sweet Pea earned her name by being the most cuddly, good natured cat I've ever met. She loves to nap by your side (or on your chest), has a loud purr anytime she sees you, and is extremely calm around my dog. She knows if you are sick or sad, and will stay by your side all day if you want. She likes being around her people, but won't bug you for attention. I've spent my life arounds cats, and she is truly special. The decision to rehome was difficult. I took on full time care of an elderly parent who is extremely allergic to cats. We've kept them separate in the house, but just the exposure from me being around both of them has caused issues for my family member's health. Her only health/behavioral issue is how overweight she was when I got her 4 years ago. She's since lost the extra weight and judged perfectly healthy at a recent vet exam. I use an automatic food feeder that will go with her if she's adopted to help avoid any food issues.

Story
Shy Guy is super cuddly! He likes to be pet anywhere, even on his belly. He is a relatively shy cat around new people, so don't be surprised if he hides whenever guests come over. He does great with children and is very gentle! I've never seen him swat or bite ever. I would certainly describe him as the perfect cat for a single-cat household. The reason I've listed behavioral issues is due to the fact that if he is put in a high-stress scenario (i.e; fighting with another cat is our scenario) he will begin to pee out of nervousness. He has been checked out by a vet and cleared of any urinary problems, and it is completely behavioral. This is why I suggest a calm environment/single-cat environment. He does not urinate outside the litter otherwise! I genuinely myself would keep him, but our female cat does not get along well with him in the short time we've had him (9 months) and it's created animosity. We don't want him locked up either as that is no way for a pet to live.

Story
All about Cheeto! Cheeto is a 10 month old orange ball of spunk looking for his forever home. He loves to play and tends to get a little rowdy at times, but also absolutely loves to cuddle and relax with his humans. Cheeto would do best in a home where he can be given the patience and attention he needs. He does good on his own, but would thrive with a kitty friend (or two!). He has been around children, but they are not his favorite. He is a very loving boy that deserves the world and will love you endlessly if given the time he needs to adjust to new surroundings! (Cheeto is up to date on all shots/vaccines, microchipped, and is currently on monthly flea preventatives.)

Story
Roughly one year old kitty picked up from the Seattle Animal Shelter in June. Looking for a home with an attentive owner, she bonds to people very closely and follows you around the house all day. Likes to interrupt you with meows for pets when you walk around, and guards the entrance to whatever room you happen to be in. Extremely lovey cat, takes every opportunity to snuggle close and is happy being completely smothered in love and kisses.
