I’m Sylvia! A total sweetheart! Found in the Home Depot lumber section with my siblings, I was the first to run out and be rescued by a nice lady (not shopping for kittens but super happy to have come across us)! Like my best friends/siblings, I am cuddly, social, and playful. I spend most of my days playing in my foster’s house on this awesome indoor catio/cat tree setup and getting cuddles. I would love to have a new best friend soon. And please take us home in pairs if you have the room. We all get along great and would enjoy the company as well as yours! -Meet us at Petsmart 2902 S Shepherd Dr Sat and Sun 1130-4. -Or call today to set up an appt!

Story
Gus showed up in an area with other stray cats and is still there a couple years later. A neighbor who has been feeding them noticed Gus's tail recently endured a bad injury and it needed amputation. With the help of Pet Connect Rescue, Gus got his tail surgery, neutering, and rabies vaccination. Living on the street he acquired FIV but is a happy, healthy, and very cuddly cat, thanks to the kind neighbor and Pet Connect Rescue. Gus's favorite past time is cuddling on a lap whether that's on the couch, desk chair, or bed. He is friendly with other cats and dogs. Come meet Gus Saturdays & Sundays 11:30-4pm at Petsmart 2902 S Shepherd Dr. in Houston. Contact us today to schedule a meeting at mutually convenient time.

Story
Big and Tall, friendly, people-loving catI am a gentle giant and confident cat. I like other cats at my foster home but they are intimated by my size. I like to cuddle and snuggle with my human. I love attention, being petted, belly rubs and lot of treats I walk funny, sometimes it is hard to control my back legs and they go to the sides. it looks like I am dancing Can-Can. The vet said I am a 'wobble baby', that means I was born with a condition that affects my balance. I don't remember being different, my legs don't bother me to walk, play or using the litter box. I have good litter box etiquette. I could walk and run everywhere I want in the house. Contact my foster human at Adoptablecatshouston@gmail.com for more information on how to adopt me.November 20, 2024, 6:28 am

I could be adopted with one of my playmates Nigel, Nagely and Nala also in this website. Affectionate, friendly, easygoing, vocalVery friendly, sometimes vocal and loves human attention. Exotic look with thick short coat and the most beautiful swirl marks. Papi's human Dad passed away and he moved to live in a foster home, although he is ok with other cats he craves human attention and would like to live in a home where he could be pampered as his previous human Dad used to do to him. Papi is 6 years old and still has lots of love to give. Papi is sweet and loving companion for those retires or those that work from home. He may not be good with active dogs or young kids because gets nervous. A stress-free environment would be ideal for him. Story
Very friendly and affectionate, loves human attention, great companion catSweet, playful, and affectionate, Charlie was found with a colony of feral cats outside a warehouse, but it was obvious that he didn’t belong there — and that he didn’t have the street smarts to keep himself safe. He’s super friendly, and clearly has lived with people; his rescuer believes he was abandoned or went missing from his home. He would love to have a family and a cozy place to live again. This laid-back guy gets along with everybody, including other cats. The vet thinks he’s about a year and a half old, but he’s a kitten at heart. He loves cuddling with people, making biscuits, and purring. When he has something to say, he communicates with gentle chirping meows. He loves play time, especially chasing after string toys, but he’s equally content to curl up for a long nap on the couch. He’ll bring drama-free fun to your life and be a loyal companion for the whole family. If you are looking for a very social cat that adores human attention, Charlie is your boy. Story
INDEPENDENT & INQUISITIVE  DOB 8/25/21 Hello everyone! I’m Elsa, a sweet, stunningly beautiful black DSH/ Bombay mix with a sleek, shiny patent-leather coat and big, copper-penny eyes. I’m independent and very inquisitive. I’m initially shy but am so food-driven that I always nudge closer to my foster meowmy for a good treat. I love to tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my siblings. I can also entertain myself because I love balls with bells, catnip mice, and crinkle toys. Plus I’m very comfortable around the dogs and other cats in my foster home. Hopefully you're not superstitious because, as Groucho Marx said, 'A black cat's crossing your path signifies that he's going somewhere.' I’m so grateful that I was rescued into a foster home because black cats are five times more likely to be euthanized at a shelter. Most people who adopt black cats once want to adopt one again because of their outstanding personalities and emotional stability. I hope you’ll arrange to meet me! I’d like nothing better than for you to open your heart and home to me. I’ll need patience and time to come out of my shell in my new digs, but it will be worth the effort! I’m one little black panther who’ll leave tiny paw prints all over your heart HOPE ID 22-0219-G022 If you are interested in Elsa and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php. EASY-GOING LOVEBUG DOB 9/1/21 Howdy everyone! I’m Indy, a handsome, easy-going black DSH/ Bombay mix dude with a sleek, shiny patent-leather coat and big, copper-penny eyes. It took me a while to learn that being petted, chin scratches, and lap time with my foster dad might just be a good thing. My momma Luna led the way, so I started curling up on my foster dad’s warm chest for a quick power nap and discovered that it was pretty delightful. My favorite pastimes include following my foster dad into the bathroom (Bombay mixes can be very dog-like), looking handsome, and watching the world go by as I bask in a patch of sunshine on a windowsill. My favorite likes are dry food, toys with tassels, and warm beds. Arrange to meet me today. Find out if YOUR chest could be my next napping station! https://photos.app.goo.gl/9LhdD26NmAhzMUtGA HOPE ID 21-1204-C089 If you are interested in Indy and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php. ENDEARING PERSONALITY, UNDYING DEVOTION  DOB 9/21/18 Looking for a sweet, affectionate kitty who will make you feel cherished by her gentle purrs and head nudges? Then I’m the perfect gal for you! Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Jenna, a loyal and loving black DSH/ Bombay gal who’s a real cuddle expert. At bedtime, I curl up next to Foster Meowmy to share her warmth and comfort throughout the night. Although I’m initially timid when I meet someone, once they warm up to me and I get to know them, I luxuriate in being stroked down my back as well as scratched on my chin, cheeks, and ears. I’m more of a lap cat than a fan of being picked up and carried around. My eyes light up with excitement at the sight and smell of snacks because I’m always up for a tasty treat. One of my favorite pastimes is watching the birds outside the window because I’m captivated by their graceful flights and playful chirps. My street-stray momma ran inside future Foster Meowmy’s home and immediately birthed my litter of four under her bed. Foster Meowmy turned to HOPE to help get us vetted as well as adopted, and, sure enough, I was adopted as the Pet of the Week at the PetSmart Pearland. Unfortunately, I was found in a trap several years later. I can’t explain to Foster Meowmy exactly what happened, but she thinks either I was dumped outdoors, or else I dashed out the door and couldn’t find my way back home. As a previously indoor kitty, I wasn’t used to foraging for prey, so the yummy food attracted me inside the trap. Thank heavens I was traced back to HOPE through my trusty microchip. When Foster Meowmy took me to the vet to get updated vaccines, I tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). Who knows how long I’d been outside, but probably I contracted FIV from a deep bite wound from an intact male cat. (Unlike Feline Leukemia, FIV is NOT passed on "casually" by sharing food bowls and litter boxes with other household cats.) Being FIV positive means that I should live an average life span as long as my dental health is routinely monitored and prompt attention is given to any urinary-tract or upper-respiratory infections. Despite my loving nature, I’ve admittedly had some real setbacks in my life. However, my spirit has never been dampened! I certainly deserve a caring and understanding family the second time around. With my endearing personality and undying devotion, I promise to be a constant source of joy and love in my next family’s life. Arrange to meet me today! And you know there are advantages to adopting a kitty like me who’s outgrown the stage of kitten mayhem. I’m much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break your treasured accessories. HOPE ID 18-1110-A012 If you are interested in Jenna and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php .
