Story
This is my current foster kitty, Mavis. She is an all black, short haired cat with yellow eyes. Mavis is about 5-6 years old and is very laid back. You can usually find Mavis in the corner or a closet sleeping. At first she can be stand off ish but she’ll warm up to you eventually if you give her space. Mavis was declawed by a previous owner. Need to rehome her ASAP, I can’t keep her due to my baby Tiva not getting along with other cats.

Story
Simon is a very sweet kitty. He just wants to be loved, live inside and get regular food. He is one of three kittens the mother cat brought to our porch when they were very young. She was a community cat which we didn't want to see continuing to get pregnant, so we took her for spaying, chipping, shots, etc. Very sadly, it wasn't too long before coyotes attacked her. We tried to raise up the orphan kittens and got them all neutered, and vetted as soon as they were old enough. We have four dogs ourselves, so it has been a challenge. Our dogs are house dogs, so we couldn't allow the kittens inside for very long. We have a small acreage and they all love to climb trees, play jungle cats in the gardens and check on the chickens. They have never gone after the chickens, and they aren't too bothered by the dogs.

Story
My sister found Luna when visiting our grandma’s farm and my mom has been helping by keeping her safe until we find a forever home. Unfortunately her cats do not accept her and my mom downsized to an apartment so my mom cannot keep her for long because of the limit on cats there. Luna is shy and timid. She runs and hides which makes her very vulnerable to other cats that our territorial (like ours). I have noticed she is a very anxious cat and in scary situations she will have accidents (baths, putting in a carrier, etc). I don’t know what she’s been through before we found her but even through those circumstances she is a sweet cat who begs for scratches and cuddles. She loves napping and sun bathing and playing with toys. She prefers a quiet home and is nice to my cousin’s chihuahua. She also loves looking out the window and watching people and animals pass by.

Story
Hi! I'm Jalapeno Pepper! I was born around ~ April 2024. I was found with my mom in the neighborhood as a tiny baby. It's taken awhile, but I've finally come around to the humans! I love when they pick me up and rub my belly. I even let them put a ridiculous costume on me.  I live in a house with other cats and dogs.  If interested in meeting me, please fill out an application and contact the people at Sadie's Place Rescue to set up a meet and greet! 903-458-0797 ##2094871##
