Story
I adopted Ferris from the Williamson County Animal Shelter earlier this year. He was born on April 19, 2022. Ferris is an active cat and loves to play, so a home where he gets a lot of stimulation and interaction is ideal. He gets along very well with other cats (as well as dogs) and loves people. In fact, he will most likely follow you wherever you go. I feel he would do best in a home where he can get lots of interaction, whether it be from the owner or other cats in the household— he loves to play! I have another cat and unfortunately she isn’t a good match for Ferris. They occasionally get into altercations and it’s usually cause he wants to play but she wants to be solitary. He would do well in a home with pets that also like to interact with others. I feel like his current living situation is stressful and not meeting some of his emotional needs.

Story
Itsy is our 2 year old female cat we rescued from under a bridge June of 2023. When we took her in, we already had our two other cats. We spent weeks properly introducing them but unfortunately no matter what we tried, Itsy was too protective over her food, toys, and us that she isn’t getting along with our other two cats. We think this is probably due to living on the streets her first year of life. We have to keep them separated at all times. We rehomed her to a family who kept her for 2 months and then unfortunately their house was destroyed by the tornados and they reached out and we took her back in immediately. We then explored other options like local facebook groups, found a woman who wanted to adopted her, after several meetings with her we rehomed Itsy to her and a few days later she texted saying she feels she isn’t ready to have a cat so we went and picked Itsy back up and have had her since with no luck finding her a safe, loving, forever home. Requirement: no other cats

Spazz was born around the end of August in 2015. He was found in our backyard when he was around two weeks old. His mother was a stray and had abandoned him. Spazz is a very loving cat to those he trusts. New people are not his favorite, but he will warm up over time and be the most cuddly cat you’ve ever had. He is declawed and neutered.
