Story
Abigail is a very sweet, shy kitty who warms up to most people, though she may hide at first. She is not agressive in any way toward people. She was my dad's favorite cat, until he passed away last July. It honestly breaks my heart to rehome her, but she does not get along with my cat. I also want her to have a home where she is loved and to me, she will always be his cat. She has lived with other cats and dogs before, but I think she would thrive in an environment where she is the only animal. Abigail is 8 years old. She was a stray we rescued as a baby. She is not the best groomer and may need the occasional bath. She comes with most things you will need to care for her. Overall, she's a sweetheart. She will cuddle and explore the house. And while she may hide from your guests, she will always be happy to see you!

Story
Poppy is about a 4 month old kitten abandoned by her mom on my porch. I helped her get back on her feet but I can’t keep her long term. She is a big sweet heart who loves to rub against people and purr. She is also really social and was the one who decided to walk out of the room I was keeping her in to say hi to the other cats.

Jinx is a 4 year old black cat. She is great with kids and other animals! Unfortunately our other cat harasses jinx since we have moved here and it produces a lot of stress for her. We are looking for someone to take her and give her a loving home.

Story
This lil cat is probably one of the sweetest critters I've met. He appeared outside my house and quickly befriended my Gigi and would do air biscuits in order to get attention from a human. At first he was just gonna be an outside cat, but after getting him neutered, he wound up living inside with me (I didn't have the heart to keep kicking him outside). He loves the indoors and is a sucker for attention. We think he is around 7-8 years old. He's extremely gentle and sweet and will right beside you as you walk from one room to the next, desperate from company and attention. I did not plan for a second cat, so I cannot keep him.

Story
A playful guy! Marty is a sweet, fun-loving orange kitten with a super adventurous personality. He loves a challenge, currently, he's trying to set a new record for how many toys he can play with in one day (there's a lot). When he's not playing, he likes to wind down with a cuddle buddy. When you wake up, he greets with a warm good morning by nuzzling into the covers. Marty was rescued along with his four siblings and very well socialized. He is litter-box trained, eating dry food, and overall healthy. Adoption fee of $30 is negotiable, I just want him to go to a good home! Adopt him today!

Story
Fleur, like her name suggests, is as sweet and wholesome as a flower. She can be rather shy but she also craves attention. She doesn't always like to be held but she can withstand pets and kisses. She especially likes to cuddle with her friends Ziggi and Janis and prefers to be with other cats. She doesn't exhibit much 'tortitude' behavior. Instead of sass, she is sweet and pretty easygoing. She can be prone to hiding if overwhelmed too much.

Story
Clearbrook is a more calm girl who likes to watch her siblings before joining in the play. She seems to be analyzing the situation before deciding if it's for her or not. Once she starts to play she's a little whirlwind and will run laps around the kitten room! Shes more of a night owl and loves to sleep in in the morning, sometimes her siblings will all be eating breakfast and she's still up in her cat tower bed snoozing. She's a vibrant, smart little kitten with beautiful stripes and will be good with a quieter home.

Story
Kitty was found in San Marcos with her kittens back in the fall. Vets thought she was around 6 months old back in late October when she was spayed and vaccinated (clean bill of health), however we think she could be a bit older since she is still petite and hasn't really grown since we got her. Kitty is super playful and has the cutest chirp when you greet her each day! She readily leans into pets and has a loud purr. She does not like being picked up and handled, although she is starting to tolerate it a little. It just takes her a little bit of time to warm up, but once she does she is a really wonderful cat with a great personality. It also doesn't hurt that she's a beauty!

Story
Atticus is such a sweet boy. He’s also a big boy, very solid! He’s about 6 years old and I’ve had him his whole life. He needs someone to love him as much as he’ll love them. He needs a home without any other cats. I’m not sure how he is with dogs as he’s never been around them but I’m assuming he wouldn’t be too fond of them. I’m not sure what his breed is but it forced me to put one. It breaks my heart to have to rehome him but I’m moving overseas and can’t keep him.

Story
Noir appeared in my yard in mid-September, very skinny and missing most of the hair on his head and neck. He was bullied by the TNR cats that I feed, but he was friendly and very much wanted to come inside. I took him to a vet and had him neutered and treated for fleas and the ringworm that turned out to be the cause of his hair loss. He received all his shots, including rabies and feline HIV (he tested negative). The vet estimated his age at one year. He has a microchip now, too, but it isn't registered to a name yet. Noir spent a month in isolation because of the ringworm, but he was given a clean bill of health in mid-October. He is an energetic and talkative boy who loves playing with feather wands. He also enjoys catnip and bird-watching out the window. He likes climbing cat towers. He is not a picky eater, liking both dry and canned food of all flavors. He gets along with other cats, though the grumpy old lady cats in this foster home don't have much patience with him. Although I don't know how he would act around dogs, he would like a playful animal companion to burn some of his energy with. He probably wouldn't be patient with small children, but would be alright with tweens or teens. We discovered that Noir is allergic to Revolution flea treatment for cats, so he will have to be treated with a different preventative. To inquire about adopting this cat please complete an adoption application at tinyurl.com/ccapadoptions All fosters under the San Antonio Feral Cat Coalition: Community Cat Adoption Program are fostered privately through foster homes.  They are spayed/neutered, given age appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped before adoptions are finalized.  SAFCC is a 501c3 non profit, all volunteer organization serving San Antonio and Bexar County, Texas.
