Story
Meet Smudge--she may be small, but she has a big personality! She is 7 years old, weighs about 9lbs, and has striking green eyes. Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s a huge fan of string and ribbon and will chase them for hours if you have the time and energy to match her enthusiasm! Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s an affectionate companion who adores people but prefers to rule over your household as the only feline overlord. Her shots are all up to date (even though she didnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t appreciate getting them) and sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s spayed as well as microchipped. Smudge loves to be played with, and she is also quite the cuddle bug (on her terms) and will happily sit in a lap all day if you let her. Children old enough to know not to pull on tails or corner an animal are her favorite playmates, she matches well with their abundance of energy and likes to meow back in conversation to their babble and chatter. If you are someone who has company over frequently, she rather enjoys meeting new people. She has a fun little quirk where she bucks up to receive pets and it tends to be a hit with guests. Smudge is nervous and anxious around other cats and would prefer not to live with the feline kind. We are unsure how she would be in a house with dogs. She has been around small dogs in the past with no issue and simply avoided (though it did increase her anxiety) the larger dogs we briefly pet-sat. She is litterbox trained and will only do her business in the litterbox youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ve designated, there have never been any accidents in the house. Before her anxiety around other cats manifested, she would play fetch with her toys, and bring them to us when she wanted to play. Ideally, her new home would only have one four-legged occupant to help ease her anxiety. She may not be a fan of other cats but the affection she displays for human companions is equal to any two cats that Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ve met! We personally would love to keep her but due to her ever-increasing anxiety about the other cats in our home we have to keep her separated from them and by extension us. This situation is not tenable as it leaves her depressed and lonely as she is very sociable when it comes to people and loves to interact with her human companions. To sum things up, Smudge is a cute, cuddly, and social (with humans) cat who would make an excellent addition to your household. Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s great with older kids and loves to play so if youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153re looking for a house-trained cat with a big personality, sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s the four-legged friend youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ve been waiting for! Story
Kitty III is a super-senior, 14-year-old purr-machine looking for a chill home to match his low-key, gentle personality. If you're looking for a sweet, independent, older fella who loves chin scratches, napping in cozy soft spots, looking out windows, and curling up in your lap for some cuddles, Kitty is the guy for you. Kitty may be an old-timer, but don't let it fool you: pull out his favorite wand toys and he'll show you he still has those big jumps and quick moves in him. While Kitty does do well around children, he would thrive in a home with older kids or adults that match his laid-back personality. Kitty is the perfect addition to a home looking for a chill cat. Kitty is litter trained, declawed on his front paws, and is FIV+ which comes with a lot of misconceptions. FIV+ means Kitty has a weaker immune system compared to cats without the disease. FIV+ cats deserve to live a happy life full of love! Story
Meet the fun-loving Biscuit IV! He is a nine-year-old, 11-pound American Shorthair, who wears a cute â&#194&#128&#194&#156Tuxedoâ&#194&#128&#194&#157 so heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s always photo-ready! Biscuit is a happy, playful cat who I adopted as a kitten from a North Dallas vet's office in September 2015. He is healthy, neutered, microchipped, and fully up-to-date on vaccinations. Biscuit is curious, clever, and full of energy! He likes to play with his toys and play â&#194&#128&#194&#156catchâ&#194&#128&#194&#157 and â&#194&#128&#194&#156chaseâ&#194&#128&#194&#157 and gets the â&#194&#128&#194&#156zoomiesâ&#194&#128&#194&#157 all the time. Biscuit loves positive praise and receiving pets and head scratches and responds with a sweet little purr. He likes having his fur brushed too as a nice massage and bonding time. Biscuit is a â&#194&#128&#194&#156fitness buffâ&#194&#128&#194&#157 who loves helping me practice yoga and loves it when I toss a leaf of baby spinach for him to play with and nibble on! Biscuit hasnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t been around many other animals or small children but is very loving and affectionate with our family. Biscuit is my little buddy who follows me around the house, and loves to cuddle on the sofa in the evenings for movie night! Biscuit has always been an indoor apartment cat, but I think he might also enjoy some outdoor time in a safe, confined space if that is an option. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s very curious and likes to sniff around, and is a good boy and will come when you call him. He's only been around one adult male cat (for about a month), and they didn't get along, but he's generally pretty easy going so may get along with a kitten. I'm not sure how he would react around young children or dogs - he might have fun with them, but he startles easily (like most cats) and doesn't love to be picked up so Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m not sure. He still scratches the sofa occasionally when he is jumping up but has mostly outgrown any â&#194&#128&#194&#156badâ&#194&#128&#194&#157 scratching not on his favorite scratcher pad. Biscuit has a sensitive stomach, so I feed him Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin & Stomach (wet & dry) which costs a little more but lasts a long time. He also loves his dental treats at night to keep those pearly whites looking good ð&#194&#159&#194&#152&#194&#138 I need to rehome my sweet Biscuit because my situation has changed and I'm frequently traveling back and forth out of state to care for an aging parent. Biscuit loves his 'people' and gets very sad when left alone for very long and it breaks my heart, but I need to help care for my mother in Phoenix so I'm making the difficult choice to rehome him. This silly, adorable cat will be a fun and loving companion in the right home. Apply to meet him today! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If you have a specific question about Biscuit IV, then please email newdigs@dallaspetsalive.org. Story
DOB 05/21/19 - Oreana needs her angel! This adorable tuxedo cutie had a rough start but Orrie has started to blossom. She's lived with calm, gentle, cat friendly dogs, and a variety of friendly kitties. This princess has decided her perfect place would be a calm, quiet home. She would probably love to be the queen of the castle and just live life with you! Oreana will be shy at first and will need some time, love and patience to settle in, but she will be forever grateful and your BFF once that happens! She sleeps with you once she's comfortable too! Are you her angel? For inquiries on adopting, please email DallasCatLadyInfo@gmail.com. You must be over 25 to adopt with proof of ID. Story
We found Lilith outside our old apartment complex a week before the 2023 blizzard in January. The vet wasn’t sure how old she was at the time and estimated her to be 6 months to about a year. She was only 7-8 pounds! Since then we’ve tried desperately to get her to, at the very least, tolerate our older two cats, but unfortunately it hasn’t worked out. Lilith is never aggressive, nor does she ever start any fights. Our older two cats are bigger than her, and pick on her on a daily basis. We can tell she is very stressed out, has become more withdrawn and shy. Lilith needs a cat-free home, where I believe she will thrive. She is a very sweet and gentle cat, and loves to play with string! She should be on a Urinary Health diet to prevent stress UTIs. She does not currently eat any prescription food. She would be okay in a home with relaxed/calm dogs and children- as long as they don’t bother her she’ll have no issue with them!

Story
Meet Bayou, a super handsome black and white Tuxedo boy. He's solidly built and super laid back.  He takes his cues from those (both feline and human) he's around. You can pick him up, snuggle him and he rolls with most everything. His foster family shares that he's great with their nine year old child – super cute when they read in bed together every night.  He acquiesces to his female sister Gumbo when it comes to food and play so we know he would do well with another cat in a new home.  He loves the toy balls to bat about and adores the play tube/tunnel. Likes high places and play wrestling with his sister. Does like to use the cat tree for scratching, a very nice habit!  His estimated birth date is July 12, 2024. Cats adopted from TMHPR are indoor only. ##2156880##

Story
Luni is the sweetest girl in the world. I adopted her from a shelter when she was 16 weeks old, so she is very used to people. She is so sweet, my mom, who is not a cat person, has fallen in love with her and always wants to see her and hold her. She has also lived with 2 other cats, and has seen a dog. She does not bite, scratch, pee on anything, throw up, she eats her food, no health issues, she is very healthy and happy. She is the sweetest cat in the world. I love her so much but my landlord will not allow her to stay. I am in college and cannot afford the fees they are asking for. I really need to rehome her to a loving and happy home ASAP.
