Story
Meet Percy! This adorable and oh-so-soft baby boy is almost 2 years old. I am hopeful that we can find him his perfect forever home! Percy is a loving, chubby boy with a squeaky meow and a wheezy purr. He bonds very closely with his primary caregiver, and loves cuddles and pets and sleeping in the bed with you. But he doesn't do as well giving affection to a lot of people in a crowded room, and in our house, we have 2 young kids and 2 other senior cats that he has to compete with for attention... so he often ends up biting or scratching someone. We worked very closely with our vet over the past year and tried everything to make him comfortable. He is very food motivated and would love to steal any people food, so we switched him to a dry food diet with some filler grains (Purina One). He has and will need his own private litter box. And he's on Prozac nightly - the $35 adoption fee covers his next 2 months of Prozac prescription. Message me for more info!

Story
Rajah is a 5yo gal that I found as a stray. She is as sweet as can be when it comes to interacting with people. Loves to be pet, cuddles up next to you in bed, makes air biscuits and purrs sweetly. Rajah would thrive as a single pet in a calm home. Maybe an older couple/single person looking for an easy, loving furry companion in their retirement. She does not seem to take to my cats very well so I assume the same for dogs. Fully litter box/house trained. In the first 24 hours I had her, she gave birth to 5 adorable kittens. The kittens have since been adopted, but Rajah is still waiting for her forever home 5 months later. She had a corneal ulcer from living on the streets but that has completely healed, though she does still have a tiny bit of scarring on her left eye. Come meet sweet mama Rajah! ❤️😸 She is FIV+. Most kitties with FIV can live long, healthy lives with regular preventive care. Link: https://www.humanesociety.org/news/fiv-positive-cats

Story
Hi There! Let me introduce you to our Fabulous Foursome! Winkin, Blinkin, Tabby, and Tux! These 4 brothers have been in a loving foster home since being rescued from under a backyard shed. Each has their very own lovely personality and every bit of kitten playfulness they should be! They were born on April 1st so are now about 3 months old. They’re ready for their forever homes and will continue to receive vetting support and neuter through East CAN even once in new places. Winkin (one of the twins! Gray and white and curious) is a very friendly curious babe who likes a nuzzle and is quick to purr. Tabby (he’s the Tabby… ha!) is an outgoing and playful little boy who loves to explore. Blinkin (gray and white like his twin brother but with the addition of a sweet gray beard) like Tabby is playful and outgoing - kind of the Ying to his twin brother Winkin’s Yang! Tux (in his regal black tuxedo) is a true snuggle bunny. He’s the last to the food bowl and the first to his nap. He likes to sneak away under the couch for some quiet time away from his brothers. They’re all absolutely precious and ready for their forever families! If you are interested in meeting any of these babies please email info@eastcan.org and someone will get back with you ASAP to set something up.
