Story
Hi There! Let me introduce you to our Fabulous Foursome! Winkin, Blinkin, Tabby, and Tux! These 4 brothers have been in a loving foster home since being rescued from under a backyard shed. Each has their very own lovely personality and every bit of kitten playfulness they should be! They were born on April 1st so are now about 3 months old. They’re ready for their forever homes and will continue to receive vetting support and neuter through East CAN even once in new places. Winkin (one of the twins! Gray and white and curious) is a very friendly curious babe who likes a nuzzle and is quick to purr. Tabby (he’s the Tabby… ha!) is an outgoing and playful little boy who loves to explore. Blinkin (gray and white like his twin brother but with the addition of a sweet gray beard) like Tabby is playful and outgoing - kind of the Ying to his twin brother Winkin’s Yang! Tux (in his regal black tuxedo) is a true snuggle bunny. He’s the last to the food bowl and the first to his nap. He likes to sneak away under the couch for some quiet time away from his brothers. They’re all absolutely precious and ready for their forever families! If you are interested in meeting any of these babies please email info@eastcan.org and someone will get back with you ASAP to set something up.
We'll also keep you updated on Blinkin's adoption status with email updates.

Story
Meet Percy! This adorable and oh-so-soft baby boy is almost 2 years old. I am hopeful that we can find him his perfect forever home! Percy is a loving, chubby boy with a squeaky meow and a wheezy purr. He bonds very closely with his primary caregiver, and loves cuddles and pets and sleeping in the bed with you. But he doesn't do as well giving affection to a lot of people in a crowded room, and in our house, we have 2 young kids and 2 other senior cats that he has to compete with for attention... so he often ends up biting or scratching someone. We worked very closely with our vet over the past year and tried everything to make him comfortable. He is very food motivated and would love to steal any people food, so we switched him to a dry food diet with some filler grains (Purina One). He has and will need his own private litter box. And he's on Prozac nightly - the $35 adoption fee covers his next 2 months of Prozac prescription. Message me for more info!

Story
Meet Cleo: A Loving Companion in Need of a Forever Home Hi, I'm Cleo. I'm a sweet 6-year-old girl with a heart full of love to give, and right now, I'm going through a tough time. My dad recently passed away, and while his estate is being settled, I'm staying in his house with another cat. But soon, everything will change, and I don't know where I'll go. I'm a small and gentle kitty (only about 8 pounds). I have a stunning gray tabby coat and green eyes shine with warmth. I just want to curl up in someone's lap and give them all the affection I can. I'm VERY loving and enjoy spending time with humans. I'm also not shy around strangers—if you give me a little attention, I’ll gladly accept and soak up all the affection! The thing I'm most afraid of is being taken to a shelter where I could be at risk of being put down after just a short time. Time is running out for me. Critter Cavalry Rescue is trying to help me, but they don't have foster space, so I'm in urgent need of a place where I can live out the rest of my life in peace and love. Please, could you be the one to offer me a chance? I have many happy years ahead of me, and I would love to share them with you. If you think you can give me the love and care I need, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. I may be small, but my heart is full of love, and I’m waiting for the right person to make me their forever companion. Please don’t let me run out of time. Thank you for considering me!December 2, 2024, 6:34 pm

Story
Pandora and Millie are a special pair – Pandora, barely a year old, got tossed out in a remote area when she was pregnant. She was frightened and stressed, but a trooper to give birth to a sweet tuxedo litter of 5! Caring residents in the neighborhood picked them up – her kittens found a home. She had shut down. We could only touch her on her head and neck. No resistance, no reaction. We added kitten Millie, a sweet, social girl to give her company - and her gentle, sweet personality slowly showed. She learned to play again. Millie is her support! They also have met the resident cats in their foster home with no animosity. Please look at the video clip of them playing! https://youtu.be/gvIG3LRHjMs Both of them have not jet learned to be lap kitties, but will sit next to you and purr. They won’t jump on your counters or laptops and climb up your drapes. Just be sweet company! They need some time to adjust to a new home. We are searching for their angels (hearts) Pandora is estimated 18 - 20 months old, Millie is 5 months old. They both are healthy, spayed, vaccinated, micro chipped, FIV negative and good with the litter box and scratch pad. We are asking for a donation of $100 to help us with some of the vet costs.
