Story
Maxie is a sweet and attention seeking lovey girl who just so happens to be blind and has a heat murmur. While we want to be up front about that, you'll see in our notes below that we think she's still a fantastic family pet! She’s been blind, her whole life so she adapts really quickly to her surroundings. After a few days she had her bearings and use the litter box 100% of the time. She loves her food and snacks. She is apprehensive around other animals and has yet to have a fully positive reaction to my other cats. It’s mostly been flight or freeze, but I’m hopeful that eventually she’ll come around and would do well in a household with very calm older animals. I don’t see her doing well in a household with children, she gets very scared by quick movements because she has heightened sense of hearing consents and feel movement. She loves being held like a baby on your shoulder and just in general, she wraps herself around your legs when you walk and loves butt scratches.

Story
Oreo is a retired barn cat. He spent his younger days on the farm keeping the mice away. Now that he is older he enjoys sleeping the days away in a nice soft bed in the house. He prefers the company of female cats over males as he can become territorial. He very much enjoys human contact and loves to snuggle and seek affection. Do you have the perfect home for Oreo to retire to?

Story
Jack turned 2 on May 9th. I’m looking for a home for him and his sister named, Cat. We got them from the same litter two years ago when a family member found their mom in her garage pregnant. My daughter, Ellie insisted on having one and then my other daughter, Piper of course had to have one too. Since getting them we found out Ellie is allergic. She insisted on taking allergy pills but she’s now at the point where it’s affecting her life. Her allergy symptoms have become too much for her and she’s asked to rehome them. I was really hoping to keep them together if possible because they are best friends. They are always together and playing. They are house trained, listen when you call their names, go to their bedroom when it’s time for bed and sleep through the night. They love to be pet. They have never been outdoors, nor want to. We can leave the door open and they will sit inside the doorway just looking outside. They are very chill cats even letting us dress them up for the holidays.

Story
Trey is a handsome, loyal, shy young adult waiting for the perfect owner to adopt him. Along with two other siblings, Trey was trapped from a stray colony along when he was about 10 weeks old. Trey is cautious and prefers to observe others, so he took longer to trust humans than it took his brother and sister. With time and patience, Trey learned that he is safe with his foster family and is ready to be a fantastic pet for the right person. Trey loves to be brushed, to chase lasers and feather wands, and receive pets, ear scratches/scrunches and even the occasional belly rub! He is still unsure of humans he doesnt know well and will hide until he feels confident that he is safe. Trey is great with other cats, particularly acting as a big brother to younger foster kittens he meets in his foster home. He watches over them - alerting humans when they be in trouble or misbehaving - and teaching them life skills like proper grooming or how to beg for food. Ttey has never met a dog but would likely be too scared. Trey is good around kids when they are calm. More often than not, he purrs at the sight of members of his foster family. Trey doesn't like the cat carrier, isn't sure about being picked up, and has a tiny baby meow that he uses very rarely. Trey would be great with a cat savvy individual or family who is willing to give him all the time he needs to build trust after yet another change. He would also benefit from a home with a friendly cat or little kitten who he can observe and learn from. Once he has your trust, he will likely be one of the most loyal and gentle pets you've ever had. He's a cat to remember! Trey is unlikely to show well at Petsmart. We are open for home visits or video chats.
