Story
Maxie is a sweet and attention seeking lovey girl who just so happens to be blind and has a heat murmur. While we want to be up front about that, you'll see in our notes below that we think she's still a fantastic family pet! She’s been blind, her whole life so she adapts really quickly to her surroundings. After a few days she had her bearings and use the litter box 100% of the time. She loves her food and snacks. She is apprehensive around other animals and has yet to have a fully positive reaction to my other cats. It’s mostly been flight or freeze, but I’m hopeful that eventually she’ll come around and would do well in a household with very calm older animals. I don’t see her doing well in a household with children, she gets very scared by quick movements because she has heightened sense of hearing consents and feel movement. She loves being held like a baby on your shoulder and just in general, she wraps herself around your legs when you walk and loves butt scratches.

Story
Blackie is a very social, affectionate young boyl, who loves to jump on your lap and purr. Contact: catchancerescue@gmail.com/ 610-324-4726 Hi my name is Blackie and I resemble a “miniature black panther”, I am intelligent, very loving black beauty with gorgeous eyes and a shiny, sleek black coat, who just wants to love, love, love you! I love to be hold, pet, lay on your lap and get lots of attention. If you think you can get any work done on your PC – well, I will lay next to you on your desk to keep you company but make sure to pay attention to me too and give me a head rub meanwhile. I am a cuddle and very affectionate with people. I am not very outgoing and interactive. My favorite thing in the world is to sleep in bed with humans right under arm and purr. I'm a loyal, loving companion and a very affectionate kitty and I love to roll over on my back to show my appreciation and love. I am very outgoing and interactive. As soon as you sit down I will jump on your lap purring. I am very smart kitty and if you call me I come right to you and follow you everywhere in the house. Did you know? Black cats have more baggage than your average feline. Seen as an enigma, a superstition, a symbol of luck – good or bad, depending on the tradition or belief, they are often misunderstood, or just plain looked over. Black cats have the lowest adoption rate. This is unfortunate, and not just for the cats- black cats make some of the best companions and people are really missing out! Although each and every cat has a unique personality, in general, I have noticed a few traits that really stand out in black cats. Here, in my humble experience is why: Beautiful: From brownish to bluish to every shade of black in between, black cats are beautiful in the way that one can only imagine onyx would be, if it were covered in fur. Loyal: No matter how many work trips or late nights, I am always greeted at the door. I am meowed to over the phone when away. Black cats are wonderful in being both friendly to all and dedicated to their person/people. Adaptable: While some cats struggle with change, black cats tend to quickly adapt to whatever circumstances they are dealt. Aware: Black cats seem to walk a line- they tend to be more calm and reserved than some other cats, yet they balance that by staying playful and active throughout their lives. They relish new toys, found objects, and are talented at entertaining themselves for hours (and napping for hours thereafter). The types of games they create and the ones they enjoy engaging in often involve others-people, cats, dogs, etc., and tend to be more complex, such as games of fetch and tag. Smart: In a final word, black cats are smart. They are savvy to things going on around them, and highly responsive and capable of handling change, throughout which, they remain calm, loving, energetic companions. Blackie is up-to-date on all shots: Distemper, Rabies. Tested negative for Felv/FIV. Spayed. Microchiped. Litter box trained. Story
Jack turned 2 on May 9th. I’m looking for a home for him and his sister named, Cat. We got them from the same litter two years ago when a family member found their mom in her garage pregnant. My daughter, Ellie insisted on having one and then my other daughter, Piper of course had to have one too. Since getting them we found out Ellie is allergic. She insisted on taking allergy pills but she’s now at the point where it’s affecting her life. Her allergy symptoms have become too much for her and she’s asked to rehome them. I was really hoping to keep them together if possible because they are best friends. They are always together and playing. They are house trained, listen when you call their names, go to their bedroom when it’s time for bed and sleep through the night. They love to be pet. They have never been outdoors, nor want to. We can leave the door open and they will sit inside the doorway just looking outside. They are very chill cats even letting us dress them up for the holidays.

Loving young male cat but became territorial with his best friend and litter mate. Both are currently living with an older person that has too much life stresses to deal with, and can no longer live with trying to keep the 2 teenagers apart. Willing to give up either or both of the brothers...

Story
Oreo is a retired barn cat. He spent his younger days on the farm keeping the mice away. Now that he is older he enjoys sleeping the days away in a nice soft bed in the house. He prefers the company of female cats over males as he can become territorial. He very much enjoys human contact and loves to snuggle and seek affection. Do you have the perfect home for Oreo to retire to?
