Story
Blackie is a very social, affectionate young boyl, who loves to jump on your lap and purr. Contact: catchancerescue@gmail.com/ 610-324-4726 Hi my name is Blackie and I resemble a “miniature black panther”, I am intelligent, very loving black beauty with gorgeous eyes and a shiny, sleek black coat, who just wants to love, love, love you! I love to be hold, pet, lay on your lap and get lots of attention. If you think you can get any work done on your PC – well, I will lay next to you on your desk to keep you company but make sure to pay attention to me too and give me a head rub meanwhile. I am a cuddle and very affectionate with people. I am not very outgoing and interactive. My favorite thing in the world is to sleep in bed with humans right under arm and purr. I'm a loyal, loving companion and a very affectionate kitty and I love to roll over on my back to show my appreciation and love. I am very outgoing and interactive. As soon as you sit down I will jump on your lap purring. I am very smart kitty and if you call me I come right to you and follow you everywhere in the house. Did you know? Black cats have more baggage than your average feline. Seen as an enigma, a superstition, a symbol of luck – good or bad, depending on the tradition or belief, they are often misunderstood, or just plain looked over. Black cats have the lowest adoption rate. This is unfortunate, and not just for the cats- black cats make some of the best companions and people are really missing out! Although each and every cat has a unique personality, in general, I have noticed a few traits that really stand out in black cats. Here, in my humble experience is why: Beautiful: From brownish to bluish to every shade of black in between, black cats are beautiful in the way that one can only imagine onyx would be, if it were covered in fur. Loyal: No matter how many work trips or late nights, I am always greeted at the door. I am meowed to over the phone when away. Black cats are wonderful in being both friendly to all and dedicated to their person/people. Adaptable: While some cats struggle with change, black cats tend to quickly adapt to whatever circumstances they are dealt. Aware: Black cats seem to walk a line- they tend to be more calm and reserved than some other cats, yet they balance that by staying playful and active throughout their lives. They relish new toys, found objects, and are talented at entertaining themselves for hours (and napping for hours thereafter). The types of games they create and the ones they enjoy engaging in often involve others-people, cats, dogs, etc., and tend to be more complex, such as games of fetch and tag. Smart: In a final word, black cats are smart. They are savvy to things going on around them, and highly responsive and capable of handling change, throughout which, they remain calm, loving, energetic companions. Blackie is up-to-date on all shots: Distemper, Rabies. Tested negative for Felv/FIV. Spayed. Microchiped. Litter box trained. Story
I adopted Pudge as a kitten in 2016. He is super sweet and I will be heartbroken when I have to let him go. He was diagnosed as diabetic in April 2023, and he has been on insulin shots twice a day with breakfast and dinner. He is also on a special diet of Fancy Feast Naturals or Flakes - must be under 10 mg carbs. He also gets a steroid every morning with breakfast, since November when he developed an inflammatory condition in his liver. He is so sweet but has special needs.

Story
Meet Archie: The Resilient, Lovable Survivor Archie’s story could have ended on the streets, struggling to survive—but fate had other plans. When he was first found, he was in rough shape, unable to eat or even close his mouth properly. His rescuer feared the worst, thinking his jaw might be broken. But at the vet, the heartbreaking truth was revealed: it wasn’t a broken bone—it was a chicken bone, rotting away and wedged in his mouth, preventing him from eating. Despite the pain he endured, Archie never lost his gentle spirit. Now, fully healed and thriving, this five-year-old cream-colored beauty is ready for the next chapter of his life—one filled with love, security, and a family to call his own. Archie is a cat who takes life in stride. He currently shares his home with six dogs and several other cats, proving that he’s adaptable and gets along well with both feline and canine companions. But he’s not picky—whether it’s a bustling multi-pet household or a quieter home where he can soak up undivided attention, Archie will be happy as long as he’s loved. Are you the one who can give Archie the forever home he deserves? Come meet this sweet, resilient boy and let him show you just how much love a survivor like him has to give. 🐾 Apply to adopt Archie today! 🐾https://www.familiarhearts.org/adoptable-pets

Story
I adopted Tina from her foster owner two years ago, and she has been a wonderful companion. Unfortunately, due to health issues affecting my lungs, I need to find her a loving new home. Tina is a beautiful and graceful 4-year-old cat. She is incredibly well-behaved—she always uses her litter box neatly and never knocks things off tables or makes a mess. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she gets comfortable, she is incredibly affectionate and attached. She always greets me at the door when I come home, and one of her favorite things to do is make biscuits—especially on her human! I want to make sure Tina finds a safe and loving home where she will be cherished. If you think you might be the right match for her, please reach out!

Story
Tora is a 4.5 yo male. Tora means tiger in Japanese, and he's definitely a lazy little tiger. Despite much love from his family, he was unhappy when a baby was introduced into the family two years ago and has retreated from being a happy family member. He's a big baby who wants to be the only baby and have your undivided attention. He's very food oriented, sometimes likes to play but really just wants to snuggle and be pet with all of your love. This is not a decision we came to lightly, but we really want Tora to receive the attention and love that he deserves without the stress of our very active toddler. We are hoping to find a loving home for him to become a part of. He becomes very stressed with the addition of other cats, so probably needs to be alone. We have not introduced him to dogs but have a feeling it would be a similar reaction. We can give all health and vaccination records.

Story
Very friendly cat. She is good with other cats and dogs and she is good with kids. She just has anxiety and doesn’t do well with big changes. We have a 2month old and a 2yr old and as everyone knows that comes with a lot of constant change. She really has a great personality and is very adventurous.
