Story
Janice has beautiful tiger stripes and spots and walks like a lioness. She loves sunbathing and playing games with her fellow kits. She is quite curious and wants to help with anything you are trying to do! Monica would love to be adopted to a home with another young cat. Adoption fee $100 for adult ( over 12 months old) and $125 for kitten (under 12 months old). adoption fee. All cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), tested for Fiv/FELV, microchipped, have received age appropriate vaccines, treated for fleas and worms. We are not first come, first serve. We try to match our kitties with the purrfect home. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are an all volunteer organization. All our kitties are in foster care. We ask that you be patient with us as we connect you to the foster to set up a meet and greet. Most of our kittens are placed in bonded pairs. One of the most important ways we can support the behavioral and emotional development of a kitten is to make sure they’ve got a friend. Despite the common belief that cats are solitary animals, they’re actually incredibly social beings who thrive when they have feline friends from an early age. That’s why the cat experts always recommend adopting two kittens, or adopting a solo.

I need to rehome this cat. It was my mom’s cat and I accepted to take the cat when she moved out of state. She is 2 years old, spayed, and had her rabies shot but she was due for it again last month. She lives with kids and a dog and gets along with everyone.

Mostly quiet through out the day until you start getting her food bowl ready for meal time, then she will serenade you. She enjoys sleeping on her own bed close by her human or spooning. Indoor cat, she doesn’t agree with harnessing at all. Only child, she gets anxious with other cats in the home

Story
My name is Echo and I’m 3 months and two weeks old. I came from an unplanned litter. I am very affectionate and love head butting and cuddling with my mom. I love rolling on my back on the floor and showing off my black spot markings on my tummy! I have lived with other kittens before and would love to go to a home with another confident cat or kitten. I’m still young so I love to explore around the house and run around. My personality is bubbly, curious, and affectionate. It would be great if my human is home a lot so they can play with me and shower me with love!

Story
I got cairo when he was 4 weeks old and I’ve had him for a year. He is mostly dark grey with white down his belly. Unfortunately due to my housing situation I need to rehome him. He is a very friendly cat, loves to cuddle and is very playful but he also enjoys to be by himself sometimes too. He’s a very chill cat. He’s been indoors all his life so the outside world scares him alittle, but he’s also very curious and likes to sit on the windowsill and watch the outside. He’s never had fleas or ticks or any kind of bugs before. He absolutely hates baths, so I’ve opted to give him baths with waterless soap that doesn’t need to be rinsed out, but since he’s indoors he rarely gets dirty. He is potty trained and I have an indoor kitty litter box and his feeding bowls I will give away for free if needed. He enjoys being pet and given kitty scratches. He truly is a wonderful cat and I am heartbroken to have to give him away, I just hope to find someone who will love him as much as I have.

Story
Artemis was rescued from an unfortunate situation where she was kept in a cage under a tarp on the street in an encampment. She is a very affectionate and social girl! She is very comfortable around all people, other cats, and dogs. She is very gentle and loves to play and climb! Artemis would do very well in an environment where she can have plenty of enrichment and indoors only. She would do just fine as a solo cat, and she would also do very well in a home with other animals.
