American Shorthair kittens & cats in Portland, Oregon

Artemis was rescued from an unfortunate situation where she was kept in a cage under a tarp on the street in an encampment. She is a very affectionate and social girl! She is very comfortable around all people, other cats, and dogs. She is very gentle and loves to play and climb! Artemis would do very well in an environment where she can have plenty of enrichment and indoors only. She would do just fine as a solo cat, and she would also do very well in a home with other animals.

We've had Dot and Super Kitty since they were kittens. Super Kitty got his name from the triangle shaped markings on his chest and is a very friendly, easy going cat. Not sure how Super Kitty would do with other cats besides his litter mate but does get along with our dog and they will sometimes snuggle up together. We are to relocating and won't be able to take the cats with us. Both cats have up to date shots, and are microchipped.

We've had Dot and Super Kitty since they were kittens and have only been indoors. Dot is a very sweet but on the shy side. Once she gets comfortable with you however, she will nudge your hands and legs and sometimes drool when she's happy and feeling loved. We are getting ready for a move and won't be able to take the cats with us. They are both really sweet and tend to keep each other company. Ideally, they can stay together but want to find a loving home for each cat individually if that's what's best. Dot is pretty scared of dogs. Both cats have up to date shots and are microchipped.

Jax has been mine since he was a kitten. I have had a series of unfortunate events that has forced me to move out of Oregon. He is my heart and letting him go will be very difficult for me, so I’m hoping to find someone who loves him as much as I do. Just like any cat he’s shy at first but once he warms up to you he will be your friend for life. He lives in a home with a cat now, he’s never been around dogs.

Her name is Lady she is very caring and friendly she likes to talk to cutle with you she goes outside to for a while but she stays close to yard very good listener if I say something she listens .

Miko is a great cat but we have to move and our new place is smaller and we cannot have cats. We love her and want her to find a good home.

Zuzu is 6 years old and a cuddly angel. She likes to play and run around, she loves the foil crinkle toys and laser pointers. Mostly quiet through out the day until you start getting her food bowl ready for meal time, then she will serenade you. She enjoys sleeping on her own bed close by her human or spooning. Indoor cat, she doesn’t agree with harnessing at all. Only child, she gets anxious with other cats in the home

Monkey, a short hair, tri colored, female. Approx 2 years She is spayed. Like to hide, play with toys and lazer light. Loves treats Never been around dogs Only cats she has been around are the ones she grew up with.

My name is Echo and I’m 3 months and two weeks old. I came from an unplanned litter. I am very affectionate and love head butting and cuddling with my mom. I love rolling on my back on the floor and showing off my black spot markings on my tummy! I have lived with other kittens before and would love to go to a home with another confident cat or kitten. I’m still young so I love to explore around the house and run around. My personality is bubbly, curious, and affectionate. It would be great if my human is home a lot so they can play with me and shower me with love!

Sanji is a very friendly and social cat who is wonderful with our four kids and two dogs. He’s an indoor cat and has been litter box trained since he was a kitten with no issues. Overall, very positive cat and it really saddens me to do this. Unfortunately, our eldest cat has never liked him and it’s gotten worse recently. Any time they see each other it turns into a screaming match and sometimes even physical altercations. It’s caused Sanji to be secluded to a small section of the house and it breaks my heart to see him like that. Therefore, I think the best thing to do for him is to rehome him. He’s perfectly fine with our third cat, and is fantastic with everyone else. He’s neutered and has his shots up to date. No money needed at all - we just want what is best for a sweetheart of a cat.

Christmas kittens available! We need to rehome ASAP. We have 5 currently. All black. Our cat who was unfortunately less than a year old ran away and came home pregnant. We were planning on getting her fixed at 1 year but things happen. We fostered and cared for the kittens up until they are now weaned, but we’re unable to house them for much longer and all the shelters are full. We’re desperately looking for loving homes for these little babies.

Anubis has a name like no other because he is a cat like no other! Nubi, as his foster mom affectionately calls him, is a distinguished all black gentleman with handsome green eyes! Nubi can typically be found snuggled up next to his human. His love language is clearly physical touch! Nubi is so lovable and sweet - he blows little spit bubbles in content when you pet him. He is a big baby and loves to be held and rocked. If not by his foster mom's side, Nubi is often found snuggled into his fluffy cat houses. He also enjoys peering out the window. (His position as the nosy neighbor is of utmost importance to him.) While very curious, Nubi knows to only play with his toys! His favorite toy is his giant crinkle carrot which he even drags into his little cat bed to sleep with. Nubi is a special needs kitty. He is FIV+ and has a food allergy! FIV just means that he has a lower immune system than a typical kitty. And regarding his allergy, we have already figured out that he can only eat Merrick grain free salmon wet/dry food! Therefore the only extra care Nubi will need is routine annual checkups with his vet to stay on top of his health. And he willing loads up into his carrier so vet visits will be a breeze!
