Story
Toby is his legal name, he was my wife's ESA animal way back when. She nicknamed him Chunks because he's a Chunky boi and it stuck. Very spoiled bc of my wife but she passed away last year and I took him in as my ESA animal. Now I see I barely have time and energy to properly take care of him and tend to him as she used to, I just wish to give him a proper home that he deserves.

Story
Artemis was rescued from an unfortunate situation where she was kept in a cage under a tarp on the street in an encampment. She is a very affectionate and social girl! She is very comfortable around all people, other cats, and dogs. She is very gentle and loves to play and climb! Artemis would do very well in an environment where she can have plenty of enrichment and indoors only. She would do just fine as a solo cat, and she would also do very well in a home with other animals.

Story
Mary is very playful, inquisitive, and vocal. She loves to talk to humans. Unfortunately she doesn’t get along with our other cat (her litter mate) or our dog. She would live her best life in a petless home, with someone or multiple someones who are often home (retired, works from home, multi-person household). Likes a good back scratch and her “Da Bird” toy. 3 years old.

Story
We adopted this beautiful, friendly boy in December of 2022. I found out shortly thereafter that I was pregnant. During my pregnancy, Andie was the sweetest companion. He is a lap cat by nature and ALWAYS wants to be near you! He loves pets and playing. He eagerly greets visitors. However, when I brought my twins home in September of 2023, I could tell that Andie was stressed. He wasn't getting as much attention and the constant noise of babies led him to start over-grooming. I wanted to give him a full year to see if he might adapt; however, he is still over-grooming and has begun to demonstrate redirected aggression. Andie never had any behavioral issues before my children were born. I believe he would be an incredible cat for a home where people are typically present (work from home) and would do well with much older children who can be gentle and even play with him.

Story
Midge has been with my other cat Lucky and me since she was a few weeks old. They may be a bonded pair, but I am unsure. Midge might be okay as an only cat if she is attached to her human. She is incredibly affectionate and cuddly with me, but otherwise aloof and observant. She hides and avoids loud noise and chaos and hasn’t gotten along with other cats except for Lucky, whom she plays, sleeps/cuddles, and fully shares everything with. Her play style is less of the zoomies and more hunter-style (lasers, pouncing, etc.) She doesn’t talk much but her purr is amazing. She is most content in a good window spot, soaking up any sunshine.

Story
Geo is a sweet 3 year old tuxedo cat. He is very kind and curious. He is shy at first around new people but he will eventually come around. My son and his girlfriend adopted Geo in 2021 and shortly after adopted a tabby, same age. In 2022 my son’s girlfriend got accepted into culinary school for 3 months in a different state. After school she ended up getting a job there so her and my son ended their relationship and my son moved home with his 2 cats. I already have 2 cats of my own and I have been doing my best with them but one of my cats picks on one of my sons cats so at times it becomes stressful and then all the cats get stressed out. My son is not financially able to move out as he is in school now. Also I have some new health issues and it’s just getting to be too much caring for all 4. They are the sweetest boys and I have gotten so attached to them but at this time it is what’s best for our family. I do want them to stay together if possible and they are indoors only.

Whiskey is a super sweet, 3 year old male cat. He is indoor/ outdoor- enjoys his independence but loves coming home to cuddle everyday and get toweled off when it’s raining! He unfortunately does not like our other, feisty male cat, which is why we are looking to re home him. He grew up with 2 dogs and gets along with other female cats. He is indifferent to kids. He’s a great cat and we just want him to be happy in his own home again ❤️

Gizmo is a friendly and affectionate male cat, who lives for cuddles and pets. He is always looking for a lap to lay on, and is great with young children. He is litterbox trained and an indoor cat only. He requires prescription food and a clean litterbox. Our family has loved Gizmo since he was a kitten, but unfortunately our young daughter is allergic so we are hoping to find a nice home where he can live out his senior years.

Story
Mylah is a playful and loving kitty and does best with an owner who loves cuddles. Mylah has resided with both cats and dogs and does well with both. Mylah can be shy when meeting new people but quickly warms up. Mylah's favorite past times are cuddling with her favorite humans, taking naps in her own hammock, and playing with fluffy catnip toys. This has been a very emotional process for me as I have had Mylah since she was a kitten. I am relocating out of town for employment and am unable to take her with. I want Mylah to go to a home that will be patient with her during this transition. She is a great pet, but has never been rehomed so this is new to us.

Story
Meet Nemesis, a graceful and enchanting feline in search of a new human companion to call her own. With her distinctive personality and deep capacity for connection, she’s on a quest to find someone special who can become her true confidant.   When Nemesis forms a bond, she transforms into a remarkably affectionate and chatty companion, savoring intimate moments of bonding and conversation. While she thrives on meaningful interactions, Nemesis also values her personal space. It’s important to respect her boundaries, as she can become overstimulated and might swipe if petted for too long.   Nemesis excels in calm environments where she feels secure and at ease. Although she has coexisted with other cats and dogs before, she finds their presence overwhelming and prefers to retreat to her cozy hideaways. Therefore, a home without other animals or children is ideal for her.   Vaccinated, spayed, and in good health, Nemesis is free of any known medical issues—aside from being a bit chonky. She has a clean record with litter box use and hasn’t shown any inclination to damage furniture. If you're looking for a devoted and charming cat who will thrive in a peaceful setting, Nemesis could be the perfect match for you. Adopt fee is $50 this pretty girl lives in Salem. Indoor only.   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
Anubis has a name like no other because he is a cat like no other! Nubi, as his foster mom affectionately calls him, is a distinguished all black gentleman with handsome green eyes! Nubi can typically be found snuggled up next to his human. His love language is clearly physical touch! Nubi is so lovable and sweet - he blows little spit bubbles in content when you pet him. He is a big baby and loves to be held and rocked. If not by his foster mom's side, Nubi is often found snuggled into his fluffy cat houses. He also enjoys peering out the window. (His position as the nosy neighbor is of utmost importance to him.) While very curious, Nubi knows to only play with his toys! His favorite toy is his giant crinkle carrot which he even drags into his little cat bed to sleep with. Nubi is a special needs kitty. He is FIV+ and has a food allergy! FIV just means that he has a lower immune system than a typical kitty. And regarding his allergy, we have already figured out that he can only eat Merrick grain free salmon wet/dry food! Therefore the only extra care Nubi will need is routine annual checkups with his vet to stay on top of his health. And he willing loads up into his carrier so vet visits will be a breeze! Nubi kindly requests a home willing and ready to accept all his unconditional love! Don’t miss out on this sweet man! Story
Meet Blair! Blair is a gorgeous little black shadow with giant yellow puppy dog eyes! Miss Blair is the definition of “Queen B” from the upper east side! She was named after the character in Gossip Girl. She is the sweetest girl around who loves being pampered! She adores being dressed up in cute little outfits and loved on. She also will follow you around and meow at you just to make sure you’re doing okay. She cannot wait to have her very own human who will dote on her! Blair is a total foodie! Despite her petite little body, she is the first one at the dinner table to eat! She will meow at you in such a sweet, gentle way in order to get you to give her food. She is a little food connoisseur in the making and would love to help you in the kitchen haha. Blair is such a goofball and loves to go buck wild while playing with her sisters! She loves string and ball toys and has the best acrobatic moves. Blair was found abandoned next to a highway with her siblings and mom in the middle of the Texas summer heat. Her mom, Juniper, bravely protected everyone until help arrived. Once rescued, everyone broke with panleukopenia – she battled it along with her sisters and is back stronger than ever! Adopting a panleuk survivor is so rewarding!! She beat all odds and cannot wait to bring your home so much joy and laughter! Blair is in an amazing foster home! She is currently fostered with her mom and several resident kitties. And she does great with everyone in the household! She would do great with a kitty companion or as a spoiled only child. She is loving her foster home but is ready for a home to call her own! Don’t miss out on this little princess!
