Story
Ember is a sweet girl about 3-4 years old. She gets along with other animals, children, and people (thought it might take her a second to warm up to you). She was previously abused so she does suffer with anxiety which she is on meds for. Unfortunately me and my husband have decided it’s better if she goes to another home for our child’s sake as she refuses to use the litter box. We simply can’t risk our child getting ahold of cat poop or something that’s been peed on before we do as she just started walking. She’s a very affectionate cat who loves attention, scratches and cuddles. She will headbutt you anywhere to get attention😂. We really need to find her a loving home who can handle the litter box issue.

Story
Freya is a very sweet, determined, but temperamental girl. She was originally found nearly abandoned (someone came occasionally to throw food in the front door) in an apartment with another cat. They were alone together often on for about two weeks before discovery. She’s very loyal to the parent. She deans her favorite, but seems to be very nervous around anyone else in the home or new friends although she is generally nice to them. She has never created an issue with children, but likes to stay clear from them at all possibilities. She does well with other cats however she is very, very particular about wanting a clean litter box and will act out if it is not to her standards with that said she may do Best as the only animal in the home. When she warms up, she will make a great companion, very loving, very loyal and loves to cuddle.

Story
Milo and his brother Murphy were born on a farm in the summer of 2021. Milo is inquisitive, snuggly, and incredibly good around kids. He loves to play, and he loves finding new spots in the house to enjoy. His favorite activities are spending time on a window perch watching the birds and wrestling with his brother. Murphy is the more reserved of the two and is perfectly content to snuggle on any lap or blanket available. He can be shy around new visitors, but warms up quickly. He loves anyone new he meets. His favorite activities are finding new cozy spots around the house, napping, and romping around. We have two children, and between our full-time work schedules do not have the time to spend with our cats. We would prefer both the cats to stay together in their next home. Both cats are up to date on shots, neutered, and have never had health concerns. They do NOT like dogs. They are indoor cats. We will give everything for the cats from our home to their next owners.

Story
Dad was found with his girlfriend and two kittens in an unsafe area by S IH-35. He got along well with his girlfriend and kittens, but they were scooped up and found homes. Dad was fixed and put back on the streets before anyone noticed how friendly he was! A nice human stepped in and noticed his health was deteriorating outside and had no constant source of food or water. He was taken inside to focus on his health. Turns out, he LOVES being around people! Dad thinks toys are ok but prefers getting pets and sitting next to a loving human or snuggling at night! Although Dad tested positive for FIV (weakened immune system), FIV cats tend to have normal life spans when cared for and the majority never experience complications. FIV is only transmitted to other cats through blood transfusions and serious penetrating bite wounds. FIV cannot be transmitted to humans or other animals. Dad would be the healthiest as an indoor cat but a bonus to have access to an enclosed outdoor space.
