Story
Tink and his brother, Larry are stray cats that been visiting since summer 2024. Tink is extremely affectionate and loves to be brushed and petted. Tink was neutered and had his first vaccines on 11/12. Tink is FIV positive and needs to be an indoor cat only. We have two other cats with FIV and they have lived long and healthy lives! I would absolutely love to keep this cat but I am a Mother to five other indoor cats. Tink will go to his new owner with a supply of food and his paperwork. The adoption fee is negotiable. Please check out Cooper’s profile as well!

Story
Incredibly affectionate 4 year old rescued Male in need of a loving home. We rescued this charming boy from a life of misery, he has been neutered, Rabies, and 1st round of Feline HCP. He loves to put his "arms" around our shoulders and nestle his head under our necks. So perfect for someone who is in need of a devoted, docile companion. He is liter box trained and nails have been cut. All this sweet baby wants to do is sit on someone's lap and snuggle. We require a $50.00 rehoming fee, this allows us to rescue more cats and get them spayed/neutered and rehomed. We will provide the first week of food to get you started and transition to the food you wish to have him on. We are located in Shelby, NC. We already have two rescued dogs and two rescued cats, if we didn't we would keep this sweet baby.

Story
Trix is a super sweet tuxedo kitty who doesn't let her missing leg slow her down. We've had her for 2.5 years after adopting her from a shelter and our other kitty does not get along with her. We've tried everything to get our tabby to get along and nothing worked. We love Trix. She loves to be pet and will come right up demanding pets. She is good around kids and allows our 3 year old to pet her. She is vocal and loves to have conversations. She does have a touch of that tuxedo sass but it only shows up in her dislike of being picked up and the occasional warning nibble if she doesn't want to be pet. She loves to play with pretty much anything she can find and also loves to run around. She is capable of going up and down stairs and does not have any issues getting around due to her missing leg. You will never find her on one of your counters because that is the only thing high enough she can't jump up on ( she can get up onto chairs and the cat tower fine).

Story
Mel (a caramel colored kitty) showed up on our back porch a few months ago. We figure someone had owned him, moved and left him. Definitely used to being inside, loves to be held, sit in your lap, eats dry and can food. Uses a litter box, but also goes outside. (Some male cats will spray, but he does not.) I took him to Humane Society of Charlotte, and they checked him out, had him neutered, rabies vaccine and checked for Fel V/FIV (negative). Would love to find him a loving home. We already have three cats and sometimes he tries to chase one, play, etc. He's probably better by himself or perhaps with one other cat. Not sure about a dog but have a feeling he would adapt.

Story
Cleo just turned 2 in December. I adopted her from a foster at 8 weeks. She is playful but LOVES to snuggle and get kisses. She’s very social, so she likes to be around guests, not run away from them. Cleo is indoor and enjoys sitting in the sun on the balcony. She’s only been around 1 cat and 1 dog for short periods of time. She wasn’t phased by the cat even though he kept going after her. She never fought back, just ran away. She met the same dog a few times and was scared at first but then she was fascinated with him, wanting to play. I wouldn’t say she’s great with kids though. She’s very uncomfortable with the unpredictability from little ones and will swipe if they push her too much. Cleo has been such a great, loving kitty but my schedule has gotten too busy to give her the attention she needs. It’s been a heartbreaking decision and want the best home possible for her. I think she’d love to be with another cat or dog and anyone who loves kitty cuddles!
