Story
Beans is a 10 year old sweetie pie. We have had her since she was a kitten. She is a tiny cuddler who loves affection and tummy rubs. Unfortunately, she is very nervous around other cats. She is one of three in our home (all of whom we have had since they were kittens.) As she has gotten older, she had gotten more territorial, hissing and fighting with the other cats. We have tried everything to keep the peace and work on this behavior but nothing is working. The other two cats get along great, but are both nervous around Beans, who hisses and lashes out at them. We are heartbroken to come to the decision to rehome her, but the situation is not a happy one for her, the other two cats, or us. Beans is great with children and adults. She likes to sit at the table like a fellow human when we have friends over and will tap you gently on the arm when she wants pets (which is often). She's a wonderful companion and a loving pet.

Story
Spiky is a handsome, sweet, loving, playful, and a bit skittish healthy boy (almost 2 yo). My mother adopted him from the Westchester SPCA when he was 3 months old. However, she is leaving the country in mid-April and we need to rehome him ASAP. We don't want to put him through the trauma of entering the shelter again. Spiky needs an owner/family with a lot of patience and love who will be willing to spend the time to build his trust . He's a bit skittish around people, yet he always wants to be around them. He is very devoted to my mother, always sits in her TV chair with her and follows her from room to room. Only my mother can pick him up. But he always wants to be part of the group. Over a handful of visits I was able to gain his trust - he does love attention and his head scratched. I'm certain that with the right owners, Spiky could really blossom. Also I'm guessing he probably needs a less busy and calmer household environment as my mother lives alone.

Story
Cleo is a loving and independent cat, and is great with our three young boys. Unfortunately, we've outgrown our two-bedroom apartment and are moving to a three-bedroom and regrettably, they don't allow pets. Cleo is spaded, up to date with her vaccines (medical documents will be provided), well-trained, and incredibly sweet. If desired we will also clean out and provide our recently purchased Litter Robot Machine for free (it costs us about $700 but it is worth every penny). Finding a good home for Cleo is crucial to us because she holds a special place in our hearts and it is heartbreaking to have to let her go.
