Ralph is a great cat. He is snuggly and playful when he gets comfortable, but he is a scaredy cat that will need time to adjust. We're having trouble with him peeing on the dog beds and any laundry left on the floor and our attempts to get this behavior to stop hasn't worked, so we are looking to re-home him. Maybe someone with more experience or fewer cats can correct this.

Oscar is such a sweet boy. He loves to cuddle and rub his face on yours. He enjoys laying on the back of the couch and resting his legs over your shoulder. I love him so much. I need for him to have a good home. I can't keep him because my grandson is extremely allergic. I know he will make a great addition to your family.

Ollie is 2.5 years old. He loves to play and is a great mouser! He is very affectionate and loves attention (though he does not enjoy being picked up). He will lay and cuddle with you—on his terms— and is very sweet and loving. Though he might not look it in his photo, Ollie is a large cat. He weighs about 15 lbs and is very long. He does not do well with my other cat and likely needs to be in a home with no other cats. He has had no interaction with dogs. Oliver is also strictly an indoor cat. He is very scared of the outdoors.

Cosmo is a bonded pair with Benson, and I would prefer they be adopted together is possible. Cosmo is super sweet and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He can be a little skittish of new people at first, but once he warms up to you, he will be your lap cat. He wants nonstop snuggles! He gets along with everybody, although he has never lived with dogs.

I adopted him about a year and a half ago, he has been amazing and loves to cuddle and get attention, I am just unable to afford him right now and want the best care for him

Oreo is a 6 year old American short hair. I just want to make sure she has a long term home she can trust and feel comfortable in. She is very skittish, but once comfortable she is the most loving and laid back cat I've had the pleasure of meeting. She is very tolerant with handling and loves face rubs and side pats.

Snowball and Kirby are both loving and friendly gentlemen looking for a new home.  Their elderly owner is ill and no longer able to care for them.  Snowball and Kirby are usually calm and enjoy being around people.  They are a little shy at first, but will eventually warm up.  Their perfect home would be with adults that have lots of love to give them! The suggested adoption donation for Snowball and Kirby is $75 for both, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training).  Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. We are a 100% volunteer rescue committed to giving animals a second chance at life. All donations go toward that mission. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. In 2022 alone, we provided animal Healthcare totaling over $399,000 covered mainly through adoption fees. Please Note: A Courtesy Post designates that an animal is still in the home of its owner and not in a Muddy Paws foster. This means that our exposure to the animal is limited since we are only assisting the owner in finding a new home for their pet. Once your application has completed our prescreen steps, we will put you in touch with the animal’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the animal. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks, and a Home Visit (Virtual in some cases) during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each animal, based on the animal’s needs. Tyga is a very sweet, affectionate boy who is two years old. Tyla was a stray for the beginning of his life and is now ready to find a new home to spend his life in. He has gotten along well with cats in the past. He is up to date on all his vaccines and is microchipped.

Kolby is a stray from the Havelock area. He does seem to be very well adjusted to house living, uses the litter box and is comfortable eating and drinking from bowls with little to no mess. We got his shots done, and after the Humane Society wait period, had him neutered. He would make a fantastic pet, if we had not discovered how extremely allergic to cats I am.
