Story
Lumi is a loving cat. She has a lot of energy, is talkative, but can be shy or standoffish at times. She is more of an observer than a participant. Loves to be in your lap, LOVES food, but has a sensitive stomach and eats too fast around other animals so she is fed in her own room. loves to be brushed, will snuggle at night. loves to be on top of soft blanket piles, and under beds. very curious and mentally engaged. looking for a home that can cater to sensitive tummy and asthma. very loyal companion, she will follow you everywhere in the house. indoor cat ONLY. not a big fan of outside, does okay with car rides in crate. never shown aggression of any sort. I love her dearly but cannot provide her best care anymore to give her the best quality of life possible. Would love to get her into a loving home that keeps me updated with pictures and keeping in touch!

Story
This beautiful gentle cat, along with 2 other cats lived with my elderly aunt until she was recently placed in a nursing home. I and my other aunt (her 90 yr. old sister) have been trying in vain to place these lovely gentle cats in a shelter or home but have been turned away due to all shelters not accepting cats at this time. We are so stressed because we know the apartment management will call animal control to put them down in two weeks time if we fail to find a shelter or home for them. If anyone can help and take even just one cat, it will be greatly appreciated.

Story
This beautiful and gentle cat is around 4-5 yrs. old and has lived with my elderly aunt for as many years. She recently had to go to a nursing home and the lease for apartment complex where she lived is expiring at the end of this month. We have tried in vain to secure a shelter or home for this cat but have been unable to find one. We believe that the apartment management will call the animal control and they will put it down. Her 90 yr old sister has two cats of her own and lives in a tiny apartment and cannot take it, however, she is very upset at the thought of putting it down. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Story
Adopted from RISPCA. She and her siblings were all born there. She is in good health and never shown any signs of medical issues. Roughly 7 months old currently. The main reason I am choosing to rehome her is my adult cat and her do not get along. My adult cat is much more secluded and to herself, but the kitten is not. Of course this is normal kitten behavior, but my cat has grown stressed and it appears she may no longer feel comfortable in her own home. Because I got my adult cat long before the kitten, I am choosing to give up the kitten.

Story
Bo is 7yrs and 4 months old as of Sept 2024. I adopted him in the fall of 2021 when I lived in NYC. He and I moved to MA in 2023. A typical day for Bo starts with breakfast and some playing around. He loves chasing whatever is at the end of a wand/string combo. After 10-15 minutes of playing he gets a lil sleepy and takes a nap for a few hours. Dinner at 5pm and he wants to play some more. He’s very affectionate and will come to perfect strangers if called calmly. He can be a bit nervous, startled by loud noises. He gets vocal if his human is home but separated by a closed door where he can’t reach you to play or cuddle. He loves to cuddle or lay near/on people. He could use a human who’s experienced with cats who get a little nervous and skilled at curbing scratching tendencies. A quiet home with a loving and experienced owner will give both of you years of love and cuddles.
