Story
Sylvia was surrendered when her owner went into a nursing home and the family couldn't keep her. She's a senior cat and, common in older cats, Sylvia has mild chronic kidney disease (CKD). She also takes anti anxiety medication daily, mixed in with her food. You wouldn't know she's a senior cat though from the energy with which she plays with toys. She will seek you out for play time, pets, and to get brushed. She'll tell you when you stopped brushing her too soon. We're looking for an experienced adopter. She will need time and patience for her to get comfortable with you before you can see her sweet and playful side. https://forms.gle/ZfhWg4o7sdGHTcf56

Story
Meet Zero, our 2 y/o grey short-haired cat with bright green eyes! Sadly, our buildings new owners won’t allow pets without insane fees. We’re looking to find this snuggly, silly guy a new home where he can live a long, happy life. He loves his humans- once you win him over, he’ll be glued to your side. He’s super snuggly with his people. Zero can be a bit unfriendly towards strangers, and would do best in a home that doesn’t have strangers in and out constantly. We don’t think that should mean he needs to end up in a shelter. He adores his bestie—a playful dog— & would do well in a house with a pup! LOVES to perch high up, keeping an eye on his house and family. He’s a well-mannered guy who doesn’t scratch up the furniture, we’ve taught him to use his post. He’s in great health, up-to-date on all vaccines, and has never had any health issues. He will come to you with his food bowl, toys, a tunnel, and his scratching post (if you want), & plenty of wet & dry food!

Story
Due to the overpopulation, Honeybelle is being fostered in South Florida. We are ready with transport to bring him to his forever family. Named after the rarest orange in nature, female orange tabby cats are rather rare (only 1 out of every 5). Our sweet Honeybell is very affectionate, tolerant of the other pets in her current foster home. But, longs for a permanent family of her own. She is a healthy, spayed female, current on all vaccinations and microchipped. She is also FelvFiv negative. To ensure the right fit for both Pet and family, all of our adoptions are ’foster-to-adopt’. This means that, whatever the reason, we will always accept the pet back to our care, in one of our homes (not a cage at a boarding facility or shelter) if the adopter(s) has a change of heart or circumstance. This is one of the many benefits of opting to adopt from a local Rescue organization over a store purchase or shelter Adoption. East Coast Pet Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, where all donations are tax-deductible. Receipts available upon request. 305-916-EAST(3278) info@eastcoastpetrescue.org;

Story
We've reached the difficult decision to re-home our sweet, social elderly cat. With two small children and a third on the way, our household is a bit too chaotic for him and he deserves a home where he can get more undivided attention. His name is Oscar and he's a 14-year old declawed, indoor male orange tabby. He's been with me his whole life, has been well cared for and I have all of his medical records, food, litter etc. to pass along. While he is a senior cat, he has had no major health issues and is in great shape. His vaccinations etc. are all up to date. He has lived with other cats before without issue (not sure about dogs, but open to considering it!) He is very low-maintenance and spends his days napping, begging for food and meowing for attention. He's a really sweet guy! It breaks my heart to let him go, which is why I'm hoping to pass him along to another loving owner as opposed to a shelter.

Story
Rambo is a cuddly and compassionate young cat looking for a new home. He enjoys going outside, but because of an escalating feud with our neighbor, he cannot be outside as much as we would want him to be. We are hoping we can find him a home that allows him to relax and give him the freedom to roam about that we unfortunately cannot provide any longer.
