Story
Meet Styx! As of February he’s 10 months old, we got him from a coworker that just kind of threw him at us after their cat had kittens. We took him to the vet only to find out he was 3 weeks old, we were hoping our older cat would take on a motherly role with him but that unfortunately never happened, she cannot get along with Styx (no fault of his). He's such a cuddle bug, he loves to be near you when I get home I pick him up and he licks me under my chin and purrs louder than Ive ever heard any cat purr. He’ll cuddle up on your chest when you're laying in bed or at your desk, he's always happy to see you. This little guy LOVES to play fetch and it doesn’t matter what toy you throw! He’s still very much a kitten, incredibly curious, brave, and daring. We love our sticky boy very very much but recognize that we’re not the best fit for him, we think he’d do best in a home with another cat or two to keep him company and always be available for play and snuggles.

Story
My son brought Tobi home because he was 1 of 2 kittens in a friend's litter. He is now 10, and very well fed and loved. He is a lap cat and kind to kids and people. Reason He was my son's cat, but my son has moved out and I work too far away. I also hope to move out of the area soon so it's best I find a good family or home for him. Adjectives that describe your pet: A lap cat, very affectionate, eats well, likes to go in the yard but never runs away from home. He does shed but is good with kids and strangers. Best Qualities Happy and calm but not aloof. Cute/funny quirks Thinks he is a dog and will run outside with you, but only if it's evening. Special toys or treats that they love Balls with jingle bells, the feather in a stick, scratching posts

Story
This sweet, cuddly grey cat (approx. 6 yrs old) is looking for a quiet, stable home where she can thrive. We adopted her from an animal shelter in Baltimore when she was just a year old. She loves to cuddle and play, and adores patient people. She previously did well in a calm home when we had no other dogs or kids. She began marking her territory a few years ago when our work schedules became unpredictable and we were not able to give her the attention she needs. Now we have a new baby and a new puppy, and it has caused our sweet Nala to become withdrawn. She has never been aggressive to kids or other animals, but she is happier without them. She really needs a loving home with understanding humans, a predictable schedule, and ideally, no dogs or kids. She's quiet (but loud around feeding time!), affectionate, playful, and deserves a second chance at happiness. This decision has been extremely hard for our family, but our sweet girl deserves a home that can give her what she needs.

Story
Hi, my name is Rocky II. My mom named me that because she had a cat years ago, of course named Rocky, whom she loved dearly & felt the name suited me too. She adopted me right before the pandemic and took care of me while I entertained her while she was “locked down” in her senior apartment. She also realized that I’m deaf and had to get used to letting me know she was there to keep from scaring me all the time. Sometimes I meow pretty loud but as soon as you look at me I’ll meow very sweetly. I think sometimes I just do it because I don’t know how loud I actually am. Mom passed away & I’ve been living w/her daughter for the last 6 months but I just can’t handle her dogs and I really need a more 1 on 1 relationship. I love to get brushed & will purr & rub on you as long as you want me to. I can also take a hint & am happy w/my alone time as well. I’m pretty chill, don’t mess up the furniture, don’t pee outside my box. I’m a pretty decent guy & would love a new comfortable home.

Story
Tacocat is 4 years old and was given to me by friend after his cat got out and came back pregnant. She is a beautiful and soft 4 year old, with a giant heart. It takes her a while to warm up to a new human but once she does she is the most lovable and sweetest cat you can hope for. She can tolerate other cats as long as they do not bother her but cannot stand dogs. She would do best in a home without other pets. She has not been around children but she usually hides when new people come and runs away if they get too close so I really dont think it would be an issue. Unfortunately we must give her up due to our dog. The dog chases her and it stresses Taco out much. She has started to not use the litter box every time as a result of this and hurt her paw one time trying to get away. There is no fee to adopt Taco and I just want her to go to a great home where she can relax and be happy. A quiet home would be best and ideally with no other cats or dogs.
