Grayson is an affectionate cat who loves to be petted. He has spent a great deal of time outside and loves climbing. Grayson lived with a woman who developed Alzheimer’s and is now unable to care for him and his brother. He has always enjoyed physical contact with people but this need seems to have increased after moving from his former home. We believe he is lonely and misses his brother and caregiver. Grayson is currently being fostered on our porch because one of us has significant cat allergies and we can’t allow cats in the house. Unfortunately our own rescued cat, who is an outdoor-only cat, can not tolerate Grayson’s presence, and runs away when we let Grayson out. Grayson would like to come inside and often shows up in our kitchen window and purrs. He really needs more human contact than we can provide. Grayson might not be a good choice for someone who is elderly because he tends to get under people’s feet.
