Story
This is Lieutenant. He’s a good boy. He’s getting along well with other cats but leery of dogs, but we also have a Husky that doesn’t observe boundaries so Lieutenant may do well with calmer dogs. He’s friendly and enjoys cuddles and head butts. He’s been strictly indoors with us. He’s about 1.5 years old. Lieutenant is a mix of white and calico like coloring. Will refund rehome fee with proof of first vet appointment at new home.

Story
*** Mittens is weaned but too young to be adopted and will be available after her spay at UCAN on 1/28/25*** She is available to be fostered within our foster radius of 1 hour from Melbourne KY or Maysville KY, she is young and though she uses her litter box she still isn't cleaning herself effectively and needs a bath every few days. She is also too small for any flea and tick meds, so she needs a weekly bath with dawn dish soap and acv. Young kittens are alot of work and not completely independent yet!

Story
Charlie is 11. He is a very sweet cat. Never had territorial issues in the past but he is having issues with my wife's cat. They keep fighting and I worry he's stressed as a result. He would need to be the only cat or live with a female to avoid territory issues. Other than that, he's the best cat.

Story
Spot is a very sweet, friendly, playful cat , lap cat. Got along fine with my other cat until August. Since then he has been bullying her. She is very timid and it took her over a year to be comfortable with me so rehoming her would be detrimental. I believe he would be doing well as an only cat.

Story
PAWS is a kitten who's ready for fun at the drop of a toy! He's a stunning tabby and white boy who loves to play with his kitty friends. Paws is crazy for catnip stuffed toys. He's the perfect blend of fun and handsome. Paws is currently around 5 months old and will likely be a medium-sized cat when fully grown. He is well socialized with people and other felines. Kittens thrive in the companionship of other felines. especially a playful kitty like Paws. If you don't have another playful kitty we are happy to match him up with another one of our adoptable kitties.  If you would like to meet Paws, please fill out a cat adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter.  You can meet Paws at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate.  Our cats are fully vetted and require indoor-only homes. All other pets in the home must be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccines. We will not send cats to homes where they will be declawed, a harmful practice that can cause lifelong physical and behavioral problems. Our cat adoption fee covers spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, combo testing, deworming, microchip and any other needed care.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 6, 2024, 2:41 pm

Story
Shadow is a sweet little guy and a purr machine. Please help find a loving home for this sweet boy. He loves to sit on your lap and follow you all around (hence why i named him Shadow). He loves to play with cat toys and has youthful energy. He enjoys being in charge and should be placed in a home without other kitties at least in my experience. To be fair we have three males so he may be different in a different environment . He is litter box trained and loves the sunshine. Also does not claw furniture. We found him outside in September 2023 and he appears to be abandoned. He is microchipped but the contact information was never updated. We placed info on Facebook, Pawboost, Nextdoor, and locally to no avail. :(
