Story
Hermes is about 4 years old. I'm moving out of state in June 2025 and would like to find him a good home before I leave. He's very high energy so he likes to play and run around quite a bit. He likes wand toys and laser pointers a lot. I've been trying to get him outside on a leash and harness, but that's been just recently. He does need his food levels controlled or he will overeat (he was overweight for awhile but he's back down to a good weight now). Current on shots and healthy. Gets along good with strangers and with the vet. Generally a good natured cat, but a little on the anxious / high-strung side (aka he gets the zoomies). Doesn't like car rides or being picked up and carried around, but he will camp out on a lap for quite a while. Basically, he likes it when it's his idea. If you adopt him he can keep his carrier and harness.

Story
Cheeto is a very friendly neutered orange boy in need of a new home. It breaks my heart to have to find him a new home but my mother died recently and I am a student in Washington DC. He is a little bit shy at first but opens up very quickly and is one of the most loving kitties you will ever meet. Nothing delights him more than cuddling up on you after a long day. He will wiggle into your arms and purr louder than you have ever heard and make little chirps like he thinks he is a kitty-bird hybrid:) He is very chatty. He will talk to you about any and everything he can, he will meow, chirp and trill to tell you he loves you, ask for attention, ask about your day, and of course ask you for food. In addition to cuddling, he loves to be held and cradled like a baby and makes all sorts of happy noises when he is picked up:) He has been a patient at Ashworth in WDM and Mojovet in Waukee, both vets know him and will keep seeing him. Also, he's a lifelong INDOOR kitty, do not let him outside.

Story
Dexter is a male cat I found with his sister, in lorimor Iowa with no momma as she got sick and passed away. Dexter was a runt with an infected eye and is now bigger and a bully to his sister. Its ok though she fights back. Dexter loves attention and LOVES treats. He knows how to sit! He’s also very cuddly.

Story
Dee Dee and her brother Dexter were found in lorimor Iowa with no momma as she got sick and passed, so without proper nutrition at a very young age she is very small for her age as of right now. She loves people once you’ve gotten her heart, she’ll lick you and give you kisses all day long, and may nibble your ear. She is INCREDIBLY smart and very good driven.
