Story
Meet Bjorn Handsome Bjorn and his equally gorgeous sister Freya are ready for adoption. These two five-month-old kittens are ready to go home, together. They are bonded and that’s a good thing. Bjorn loves his sister and the two together are funny, silly, active, snuggly, affectionate, and absolutely adorable. They had a rough beginning but fought their way to health and are thriving. They are well liked in the kitten room by all the kittens. They love people and will make for wonderful kitten companions. Bjorn has two different colored eyes – one blue and one green and a silky soft snow-white coat with a little spot on his head. If looking for kitty companions, Bjorn and Freya are terrific! Both kittens will be fixed before going home. If interested in Bjorn and Freya, please submit an application online at: www.charlessmithgallhumanesociety.org. Once an application is submitted online, you will receive an email saying your application has been successfully submitted. If you don’t receive this email within 24 hours, please check to make sure all application fields were completed or please call our shelter at 706-865-4135. All adopters must complete an approval process which involves a reference check with current/recent vet and a brief home visit if located in the immediate area. We do permit out-of-state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship, nor do we transport them to their new homes. Adoption policies and application procedures are detailed at the shelter website: http://charlessmithgallhumanesociety.org/ under tab All Adoptable Animals. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are either owner relinquished rescued from area Animal Controls or high kill shelters. The facility usually operates at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open.

Story
She is definitely the most lovable. Young cat ever. She was dropped off in our subdivision ( pregnant). She had 4 beautiful babies on Fatgers day and they have perfect livable homes now. My oldest cat 9 1/2 years is not happy. This beautiful young cat needs a truly loving home. The kitten adopters send me photos of her babies and I want someone for her that is wonderful and caring. She still loves to play with toys. Comes with toys, cat food . She has now been fixed and updated on all vaccines for 1 year. Papers included. Indoor only .

Story
Little Sailor born 5/15/24 is an affectionate boy. Loves toys you pull on a string, feathers, and especially crinkly toys. Potty-trained and will follow you like a duckling. Has a very lovely loud purr to let you know how happy he is too. I would love anyone who has the time to take care of this lovely boy as I have found I am allergic.

Story
Nala is shy but very friendly cat who I’m looking to re-home. She is around 7 years old. She loves to sit on top of her cat scratcher & will talk your head off if she even thinks she hears a can of cat food being cracked open. If I’m being honest, I’m looking to re-home her because I don’t give her the attention she deserves. She is loving & will gladly sit next to you on the couch (just not on top of you). I want her to find a good home where she can feel loved.
