Hello! I'm Alan! I was a stray cat living with my brother in the backyard of some friendly people who brought me into the local rescue so I can have a roof over my head and food in my tummy! I have black fur with a pretty white patch on my chest. I love to cuddle, and play! Adopt me for a sweet boy down for anything!

Story
MEET LUCKY! I’m looking to find a forever indoor home for a cat that showed up at my work a couple of years ago. Per the vet, he is approximately 3 years old, neutered and is FIV positive. He has skin allergies in the summertime. Lucky has became the most affectionate and loving kitty and deserves so much more than living outdoors. He is being bullied and attacked by other stray cats. Cats can live a full healthy life with FIV. Do some research and give this Angel a chance.

Story
Midnight is a very loving, cuddly house cat. I’ve owned him for 4 years with no issues from him at all. Very friendly, loves his cuddle time and exploring. Been around kids and other cats. Haven’t had too much experience with dogs so very unknown territory.

Story
His name is his personality. He is very energetic, loves to play but very prey driven. I wouldn’t suggest he be around young children or older pets, he likes to randomly attack due to his prey drive, and it hurts, sometimes breaking skin. He does sometimes get food and toy aggressive. I found him in a bush on a main highway when he was about 5-6 weeks ol he is now 15 weeks, so we have given it time, it’s just not working out. Have taken him to the vet, he is still due for more vaccines and is not fixed yet as they will not do it until he is 6 months old.

Story
Meet our sweet SC Peach! Peaches was found abandoned near a gas-station dumpster in Bluffton, but she did not let that get her down. She remains sweet and brave; and it is clear she had been in a home before. She is a true people cat, but definitely needs exercise and play before she settles down for cuddles or naps. She is a young and VERY smart cat. She loves cuddles and just hanging out after play. She is fully vetted, spayed and estimated at 9 months to a year or so in age. While Peaches is a love and would probably do well with another kind cat in her new home, she would also thrive as a spoiled solo cat. Understanding she has been through some rough times and will need a little time to settle into her new home and trust her new people, respectful/gentle older children or no children are recommended. Very few orange cats are female, so this little girl is a true diamond in the rough. For the safety of our cats, a home check is a condition of adoption, but this can be done at the time of adoption as we bring the cat to you! We offset this by a low adoption fee. INDOOR HOMES ONLY. Story
Meet our big, beautiful girl Trixie! This gorgeous tuxedo with the bright white whiskers and little white boots is one of the sweetest cats we have had the good fortune to meet. She was recently rescued from one of AAC’s rougher satellite feeding sites, where she was abandoned as a kitten, along with her sister Hazel (also up for adoption), when her owners moved on. AAC’s new adoption program is working hard to find homes for some of the wonderful house cats abandoned on the island and surrounding areas. Trixie was always the first to say hello when we arrived, telling us about her day and wanting love a whole lot more than food. That said, she LOVES food as is evident from her healthful size! Treats are the key to success! She did great at the vet and is super healthy, vaccinated, spayed and ready for her new life. She is estimated at about 2 years old. Trixie is doing great acclimating to the pampered home life, as we figured she would. We are still getting to know her, but already she is charming everyone she meets, with her bravery, kindness and giving humans a chance, even when we, at times, have not earned that. Someone is going to very lucky to add her as a new family member. She can be adopted as your “one and only", with her sister Hazel or should do well in an existing cat household with a mindful acclimation (which we can help you with). Like so many, sweet Trixie needs a chance and a new family who will gift her a little patience to find her way. You can meet me in person! I am currently bunking with our dear PetsMart adoption partner friends at 430 William Hilton Pkwy #107 during their retail hours! INDOOR HOMES ONLY (she has had enough of the streets). For the safety of our cats, home visits required (which can be done at the time of adoption). Adoption fee $50. Our required application can be found here: https://form.jotform.com/231967731104152

Story
Meet our pint-sized gem, Hazel! This adorable, quizzical, funny little girl was recently rescued from one of AAC’s rougher satellite feeding sites, where she was abandoned as a kitten, along with her sister Trixie (also up for adoption), when her owners moved on. AAC’s new adoption program is working hard to find homes for some of the wonderful house cats abandoned on the island and surrounding areas. She did great at the vet and is super healthy, vaccinated, spayed and ready for her new life. She is estimated at about 2 years old. Hazel is doing great acclimating to the pampered home life, as we figured she would. She does watch what her more-outgoing sister Trixie does first, and then she follows her lead. We are still getting to know her, but already she is charming everyone she meets, with her bravery, kindness and giving humans a chance, even when we, at times, have not earned that. Someone is going to very lucky to add her as a new family member. Story
Meet our newest addition, Beatrice! This little tabby and white girl was abandoned at a local trailer park along with some of her friends. She was always the first to greet our volunteers; and waited patiently until we had a spot for her to come into foster care to prepare her for finding her furever family. She is estimated at around 2 years old, spayed and healthy; and seems to get along with other cats, but would also do well as your “one and only." Beatrice is gorgeous, butter soft and has the biggest, most expressive green-yellow eyes. Her great personality makes her the complete package. She wants nothing more than a lap to sit on and a person or people to love her. You can tell how grateful she is to be off the streets and safe and warm. There is really something special about this little sprite. Someone will be lucky to adopt her. Indoor homes only please! COME MEET ME! I am bunking with our adoption partner friends, Petsmart of Hilton Head (430 William Hilton Parkway). Below you can find our adoption application link. Kindly fill it out and one of our Adoption Team members will get back to you right away. For the safety of our cats, home checks are also a requirement of adoption. This can be done at the time of adoption. This is the adoption form link: https://form.jotform.com/231967731104152

Story
Meet our newest adoptable cat (and only boy!), Oreo! He was recently rescued from one of AAC’s rougher satellite feeding sites, where he was abandoned as a kitten, along with Trixie and Hazel, who we think are his sisters (both also up for adoption). AAC’s new adoption program is working hard to find homes for some of the wonderful house cats abandoned on the island and surrounding areas. Oreo was one of the first to say hello when we arrived, telling us about his day and wanting love a whole lot more than food. He did great at the vet and is healthy, vaccinated, neutered and ready to begin his new life. He is estimated at about 2 years old. Oreo is doing great acclimating to indoor life, as we figured he would. He finds comfort being with his little sister, Hazel, and we often find them hanging out together in their Petsmart cubbies. We are still getting to know him, but now that he is understanding his life is no longer in danger, he is relaxing more and we’ve even seen him lounging on his back. Someone is going to very lucky to add him as a new family member. He can be adopted as your “one and only", with one of his sisters, Hazel or Trixie; or should do well in an existing cat household with a mindful acclimation (which we can help you with).
