Story
This little guy came to my doorstep in mid-September, with some wounds and being much skinnier than he is now. I've tried my best to keep him, but my other cat has been experiencing some stress-related urinary problems with this little guy in the house, so unfortunately, he needs to go ASAP. I wish I could keep him, but I made a commitment to my first kitty a couple of years ago, so he's my first priority. He's FIV/FeLV negative, up to date on his rabies vaccine, and received an allergy and flea shot during his initial checkup. He's super friendly and playful, estimated to be about 1 year of age, give or take. Responds to "Whiskers" and "Booger", or really any name/nickname ending with -er.

Not good with cats,
Story
Theo is a very dashing young man. His story on how he became a sudden member of our family starts when a family member decided to teach Theo without permission to use the cat door, so now he comes and goes as he pleases. We are not sure of his age, but he's too young to be a kitten and too young to be an adult. What we look for in a new home is just a loving family that will have patience with him. He is very shy, but when he's comfortable he's a little sassy. He loves head scratches though not fond of petting on his back and belly. He is very sweet and polite when it comes to food. Sadly we won't be about to take care of him much longer because he doesn't understand the boundaries of other cats, all he wants is to play but he gets too pushy.

Story
Mother was a befriended feral, eventually loved and raised and adopted out to another family. Unfortunately she was later returned to us, and came back verbally hostile to other cats in the home. She is a sweet and sassy girl that just needs some work and long term readjusting to other cats/animals, most likely, but we can’t currently afford to do so ourselves. Looking to give her a lovely home.

Story
Meet Omoo: The Unique, Lovable, and Spunky Orange Tabby in Search of Her Forever Home! Omoo’s Journey:  is a vibrant, intelligent and lovely tabby with a big personality. She was adopted as a young kitten and lived happily in an apartment with her owner: enjoying playtime, cuddles, and her cat tree. However, her world was turned upside down when she had to move due to her owner’s roommate’s cat allergies. She was placed in a noisy temporary home with multiple dogs, which was overwhelming for her little heart to handle. AWHAR offered assistance, and Honey is now adjusting well in a new, calmer foster environment. She’s back to her playful self, having a blast with other cats, and is ready to find a loving, permanent home. About OomMoo: Breed: Rare and unique female orange tabby (Only 1 out of 6 orange cats are female!) Personality: Spunky, playful, spirited, and sweet Favorite Activities: Chasing a laser pointer, playing with toys, and being close to you Why You’ll Love OMoo: Playful and Fun: Honey loves to race around, play with toys, and interact with her environment. Sweet and Affectionate: She enjoys being near you and will add a lot of joy and energy to your home. Beautiful and Unique: Her orange tabby coat is rare and she’s a stunning cat with a big personality. What OMoo Needs: A Quiet Home: She would thrive in a household without dogs. A Loving Owner: Someone who can appreciate her playful nature and give her the attention she loves. A Trial Basis: AWHAR ensures that all adoptions are on a trial basis to ensure it’s the perfect fit for both Honey and her new family. How to Adopt or Foster: If you’re interested in meeting Honey or adopting her, please contact us at: Email: awhar09@gmail.com Text: 404-520-1060 (cell) Visit www.awhar.org for more information. Story
Lovely Little Rice = Tabby Girl Needs a Final Home ASAP! Meet Rice! This girl came from a cat colony in South Dekalb, Georgia, in a suburban neighborhood. A  cat loving resident knew of a person trying to hurt the colony and reached out for help.  We were able to remove all cats from the area, and now Miss Rice is looking for a forever home.  She loves other cats so much, and needs to go to a home with another cat.  She is a lovely little girl, just a bit shy due to the chaos of living outside and dodging people and coyotes who were killing many of her friends. She would thrive in a home that is adults only or older children who understand she may take a while to warm up. One she warms up, you are in for a treat. Rice comes out for attention and purrs while asking for you to give her scratches and pets. She has so much potential, but unfortunately has been overlooked, as she has been in foster for nearly two years now.  All cats are on a trial basis and we take them back now or in the future if needed. Rice is negative for all diseases and fully vetted and spayed. She is a playful, a delight, and deserves a great home! To meet Rice & learn more about her: please contact Zoe at 404-259-6070 (TEXT IS BEST) to  get an application. email: awhar09@gmail.com  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 10:40 pm

She is very smart, when she gets to know you just a bit, all she has to hear is the first note of your voice and she starts calling for you!  Angie is a lovely girl, who loves to eat and loves other cats.  Her Story: Poor sweet Angie was twice abandoned! I adopted him from my boss who’s daughter couldn’t keep him in her apartment. He is very affectionate and warms up to people very quickly. He has been around dogs but he does take a long time to warm up to them. He is great with kids and other cats. He also is very curious and loves to explore.

Story
Looking for a LOVING, FANTASTIC home for my little guy Squeak! We’ve been together since he was a little kitten! I adopted him from the shelter and he was so small he couldn’t get neutered right away. He’s a very snuggly guy and would thrive best in an environment without other pets or children. He has lived with both before, and I noticed he’s more pleasant and relaxed without others. He loves cuddles and being held. Butt pats are his absolute favorite. I’m looking for a loving home for him. Recently began to cohabitate with my partner and the cats don’t get along very well. It’s in the best interest for both to be rehomed. It’s sad and hurts, but I want my 7yr old guy to have peace and relaxation in an environment that’s better suited for him. If you have any questions, let me know!
