Story
I adopted him from my boss who’s daughter couldn’t keep him in her apartment. He is very affectionate and warms up to people very quickly. He has been around dogs but he does take a long time to warm up to them. He is great with kids and other cats. He also is very curious and loves to explore.

Story
"Scooter is a friendly cat who gets along with all ages, especially children (he recognizes people's age!). He enjoys head and back scratches but avoid his belly unless you're experienced. Though energetic and active during certain times of the day, he's quiet most of the time. He needs at least two rooms to roam.Scooter loves interactive play, and you'll find new ways to engage with him as you bond. Tricky tasks like feeding meds, cleaning ears, and trimming nails require quickness, as he dislikes being restrained but will tolerate it briefly. As a middle-aged cat, his healthcare needs will increase, so we hope you're an experienced adopter who can provide the necessary care and support."

Story
This is Harper, she’s a stray cat that I took in before my roommate and I decided to get a house (which unfortunately she cannot be at). She’s a female, aprox 2 years old, and unfixed which is one of the reasons I cannot keep her. There’s not enough time before the move to get her fixed and need to find a loving home for her asap! She’s very very sweet and cuddly, loves dogs and other cats as well as kids and other adults.

Story
He was given to us as a rescue. Someone before us hurt him and fractured his nasal bone. We have maintained his care he is just not a total indoor cat. He needs a barn with an indoor outdoor situation he is litter box trained. Our vet believes he needs to be allowed out to hunt and then let in at night. We live in the city and it’s not fair for him. He has swatted at us and attacked our older dog by ruff playing he can be very sweet and just wants to be loved. We are not the right place am more. We will have to surrender him and he will be uthenized if we cannot find this type of home soon. I will not risk our 14 yoa dogs safety with him Our little dog is blind so he cannot defend himself. Tux is a great cat for the right home. He needs a patient and experienced cat person who can deal with his moods. I have an electric litter box food and toys whomever can get him free to whoever gets him. Please help us. Help Tux

Story
Tosin is around 2 months old and has a ton of energy. I got him from my boss, and my ideal home would be one that can give him full attention. He loves to play, more often than my other cat which is causing conflict, so if there are any other cats in the house make sure they can keep him entertained, and teach him all the things a small kitten needs to learn. He is very affectionate but can also be extremely vocal, so maintaining the food / play / cuddles ratio is key. He is very curious and confident, knows how to use the litter box, but also chews on anything he can get his paws on. I would like for his next owner to have ample time and resources to give, because he thrives on them.

Story
I was abandoned at the vet  when I was a kitten, and lived in a cage until my foster human  rescued me.  I am now about a year old.  I love to play with Justice and Winkie, but my favorite activity is purring and talking to my foster.  When I want her to pick me up, I meow.  I can even tell my human I want treats.  We have great conversations.  You can apply for me at gahomelesspets.org  ##2056581##

Story
Cannoli is a very sweet girl. She's not big on playing with toys. Though she does love a good scratching post. She enjoys watching the outdoors and would love a Catio or screened in porch to lay in. She is a very easy going cat that would love a warm lap to lay on. She would be good as a single cat or in a home with an older cat that doesn't want to play. She keeps to herself but will occupy the room with other cats. She loves to get attention from her humans though and will cuddle and even sleep under the covers. She has been with her foster mom for a year now as it took some time for her to trust humans again. Now let's find this sweet girl her forever home.  Applications are here: https://gahomelesspets.org/ghp-cat-application/ ##1757176##

Story
Age: -11 months How I got him: -I was helping out with a soup kitchen down in Atlanta called Food4Lives where we were serving a group of homeless individuals outside which were taking care of him at the time. He popped out of one of the tents and came right up to me. I then asked them if it was okay to give him a suitable home and they agreed. Why I'm rehoming him: -I have an 8 year old cat who is very relaxed and easy going, and I was hoping through slowly getting both cats acclimated with one another things would work out. Unfortunately, the kitten(Neo) is way too energetic and wild for my older cat, and we have to separate them since Neo plays too aggressively with him and they've gotten in some pretty nasty fights. We've tried a lot of things but I think it best Neo finds a more suitable home for himself. How I'd describe Neo: -Incredibly energetic, super loving, funny/wild and can get very attached easily Hopes for new home: -Spacious, interactive, peaceful and cat friendly

Story
Six months ago we began caring for a very thin stray male cat (“Michi”). Unfortunately we cannot care for him long term. We will be out of the country starting January 2nd and will not return for three months. We took Michi to the vet on November 12th for a checkup and rabies shot. A microchip was located. We learned the original owner’s phone number. We contacted the family and learned that the owner has passed away, and that the family has either moved to Florida or is no longer physically able to care for Michi. We also learned that Michi was born in 2013 and has been neutered. Michi is well behaved and sweet-natured. He will not bite or scratch you. Likes to have his belly rubbed and to be petted. Please help us identify a permanent home or foster placement. Thanks.

Story
I have had Toby since he was 3 months old, and he is the sweetest cat I've ever interacted with. He's a big cuddle bug and always wants to be around people. if you're having a social gathering, he's going to be right in the middle saying hi to everyone. If you're watching a movie on the couch, he's watching it sitting right next to you. Recently, Toby has been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. While we've been giving him medication and food accommodations, it just isn't enough. He needs to be fed every few hours in small portions, which I can't do working a full time job in-person. Unfortunately, I can't change my career and have decided with a heavy heart that he needs a better home than I can provide him. Toby would be best suited for a home where the care-taker works remotely to provide the best possible care for him. He gets along with other cats and dogs (after being introduced), but I'd prefer him to be in a home where he's not taking food from other pets.
