Story
Meet Ugly Betty! I discovered her abandoned under my car when she was just 4 weeks old. I named her Betty because my wife thought she was ugly, but I believe that true beauty lies within, not just on the outside. Betty is the last of five siblings; I initially found three but was only able to save one. My intention has always been to find a new home for Betty, but it's been challenging. It seems that no one is interested in adopting an average kitty like her. If you look beyond the surface, you’ll truly appreciate how precious Betty is. She has so much love to give and a unique personality that shines brightly!

Story
Abby is an energetic and fun-loving cat! At three years old, she's just as adorable as she was as a kitten, and she still has plenty of curiosity and an uncanny ability to get into mischief. She's always looking for the next thing to do. So we feel Abby needs an experienced adopter who can keep her safe and healthy! We also feel she would do best in an adult-only household. Abby is very affectionate. She loves kisses, hugs, and sitting/snoozing on her foster mom's lap. Abby was rescued with her sister, Ariel, and both are currently being fostered in a home with two other cats. Abby tends to have a "take charge" personality, but she gets along with everyone. She would do very well as a companion for a cat (or cats) already in the adopter's home. The HPC adoption process involves a foster period (to ensure a good "fit") before the adoption is finalized. Since HPC visits the home during that time, potential adopters need to be in the Bradenton/Sarasota (Florida) area.

Story
Ariel is not only a beautiful cat, she's also unique! She has a small black "beard" and a short tail and looks very similar to a Japanese Bobtail, even though that breed isn't reflected in her DNA report. She's half American Domestic Cat with lower percentages of Norwegian Forest Cat, Highlander, Scottish Fold, and Siamese/Oriental Cat. At three years old, Ariel really isn't a kitten any more, but she's still energetic and curious. She loves to play, and "the zoomies" are part of her daily exercise routine. She has also become very affectionate and loves to cuddle in her foster mom's lap. Ariel was rescued with her sister, Abby, and both are currently being fostered in a home with two other cats. Ariel gets along with everyone.

Georgie is a sweet, healthy girl who loves to talk and be petted. She can be independent, but is usually the first to say hello and greet you at the door. Georgie’s owner passed away in November 2022 and she was taken in by a family member who also tragically passed away in December 2022. Georgie is looking for a kind family who loves kitty cuddles.
