Story
Rehoming Two Very Affectionate Cats I am faced with the difficult decision of finding a new home for my two sweetheart cats. They are two years old and from the same litter. Healthy, neutered, and up-to-date on vaccines. Due to financial circumstances, I am moving in with my family, where there is a dog that is aggressive towards cats. To ensure their safety and well-being, I am seeking a kind, safe, and loving home where they can continue to thrive together. Please see the attached photos. If you are interested in providing a forever home for Moose and Bao, or if you know of someone who might be, please reach out to me at the email provided. Your kindness and assistance in spreading the word are greatly appreciated. Gratefully, Isabel

Story
Zulu is an awesome and shy cat that minds her business and is looking for a loving home. I adopted Zulu when she was around 8 months old, and she has been with me for 4 years. She has traveled around the world with me and I will miss her very much. Unfortunately, my other cat is very dominant and does not get along with Zulu, despite being with together for four years. This is causing Zulu significant anxiety and is leading her to overgroom. This is likely due to the significantly smaller apartment that I live in after returning to the U.S. This is an extremely difficult decision but I do believe it is the right one for her health. Zulu is up to date on all of her vaccines. She has had active pet insurance for her entire time with me and has never gotten seriously ill. E.g. she has only had the typical cat "ate something weird" or hairball issues. I am throwing in an automatic pet feeder, pet carrier, and her favorite suction cup window hammock to go with her as well.

Story
Adventure Kitty showed up on our front porch a few months ago. She’s not just a “neighborhood outdoor cat”. She acts as if she used to be an indoor cat but was dumped. Every time we come home she is very excited to see us. She clearly loves people. We already have three cats so we can’t take her in. So we have been feeding her and giving her a warm and protected place to sleep outside. She is really sweet, playful, and always approaches anyone who is outside in our yard. She gets along with other cats in our neighborhood and is probably not even a year old. We live near a busy street and would really like to have her in a safe and stable home.

Story
Meet Panda and Bear, two sweet and affectionate 4-year-old brothers who are looking for a loving new home. Named for their panda-like colors, these bonded cats have been inseparable since their adoption from an animal rescue. Panda is friendly, playful, and loves to snuggle, while Bear is equally affectionate, calm, and enjoys curling up for cozy naps. Together, they bring double the love and companionship to any household. Both are carefree and enjoy both indoor and outdoor spaces, making them the perfect addition to a home where they can explore and relax together. We are heartbroken to rehome Panda and Bear due to relocating, but keeping these two brothers together is our top priority. If you’re looking for a pair of loyal and loving companions, Panda and Bear are ready to bring joy and warmth to your life.

Story
I adopted my cat from PetSmart, and they are currently one and a half years old. My cat is incredibly affectionate and loves spending time with people, making them a wonderful companion. They are in perfect health with no known issues and are very easy to care for. I am looking for a quiet and clean home for them, ideally with someone who can provide them with love and attention. They are comfortable living with other cats, so a multi-cat household would work well too. If you’re looking for a loving and sweet-natured cat, this could be the perfect match for you!

Story
Shadow and Sailor are truly the best cats. They are both 1 year old and will be turning 2 in March. They are both super playful, very funny, and love to cuddle. Their personalities are very bright and outgoing. They are both truly special. I got shadow and sailor with my ex over a year ago and I’ve been taking care of them in my own since we split in February. I love them very much and that’s why I believe they deserve a better home. I travel a lot for work and can’t afford having someone watch them when I’m away. They deserve someone who will always have the energy to play with them and give them what they need. I feel like they would work very well with a couple or even family or someone that spends a lot of time at home. Again they are truly special. Also the MUST stay together.

Story
Leyla's Personality Beauty and brains, sweet and just a little bit sassy. This little charmer, whose nickname is "Miss Bean," will win you over in no time. Leyla loves hanging out with her foster parents and is always close. She likes to lay next to you on the couch - just provide a nice, soft fleece blanket. Leyla is super friendly and loves, loves, loves being brushed. She enjoys a gentle routine and rewards you with soft purrs and gentle head butts. Leyla came into SPCA's care pregnant - delivering six healthy kittens two days later. Once her kittens were weaned and adopted, Leyla became more playful as she learned to be a kitten again! Leyla goes nuts over a catnip-filled pillow. She sometimes gets the zoomies and chases just about anything that moves. Miss Bean won't wake you up for breakfast in the morning, but waits patiently by your side until you pet her, then she starts the day with the loudest purr. She loves to sleep on a soft blanket on the bed at night and occasionally chases your toes under the covers. Her favorite things are catnip toys, getting brushed and showing off her trick sitting on command for treats. If Leyla can’t find you, she lets out a little meow, and comes running when you call. She loves people, and is not shy at all. She is a perfect little companion. What Type of Home Leyla Needs This sweet, sassy girl needs a home where people are around for her to hang out with. She is not demanding, but likes to be near people. Leyla likes to be in charge of her territory and needs to be the only pet - no other cats or dogs. When Leyla is unsettled or anxious about new things, she can get a little over-stimulated and nip your hands - so no young children now or in the future. An older, cat-savvy child who has lived with cats before might be ok (over about 12 years of age). This behavior has subsided in her foster home now that she has settled in. Where Leyla Came From Leyla was rescued from outdoors by a kind man who found her abandoned in a park shortly before giving birth to six healthy kittens (all adopted). She was such a sweet, nurturing mama. Now its time for Leyla to have a home of her own.PLEASE NOTE:  we only adopt to residents of the DC metro area, which includes DC, Prince Georges and Montgomery Counties in MD, and Arlington, Fairfax, Prince William, and Loudoun Counties in VA. Story
Momo was a very sweet stray that deserves a warm and loving home. He is around two years old. He can be shy at first but warms up and will be very affectionate. A great companion pet, he loves to cuddle and spend time together. He’s also a big food lover and very food motivated. I would love to keep Momo but have a cat already and he would do best in a one cat household.

Ameah was abandoned by her last owner 💔 and we took her in when she winded up on our doorstep. She is about 8 months old and loves being around people and kids. It took her a bit to warm up but once she came around she started playing and allowing us to hold her and giv e her kisses. She loves sleeping near you if you are watching TV and loves to keep you company while you are in the bathroom.
