Story
Tally Cheetah is a gorgeous girl who LOVES other kitties and would make a wonderful companion to another kitty.  She’s a bit of a diva and as far as people go, she is still questioning if they’re ok or not.  She enjoys watching them, playing with them especially if they have a wand toy (her all time favorite game) and thinks they’re great when they feed her any food or treats.  But she’d rather you didn’t touch her and mess with her gorgeous coat.  She is looking for a home where people will admire her beauty from afar until a real relationship is established.  Until then she’d love to play with your other cats or kittens and allow you the pleasure of her presence.  Tally Cheetah has energy for days and is truly as fast as a cheetah.  She hunts her little pink and purple mice toys like a Cheetah going for an antelope on the Serengeti!  Just don’t tell her it is not that serious. As a general rule, we recommend that young kittens only go in pairs or to households that already have another pet. Young kittens on their own, no matter how much attention they get from humans, usually get bored and tend to be more destructive.  They need another animal to help socialize them (to learn how to appropriately wrestle, boundaries, etc).  Most times having another cat is the best, though some may be okay with a gentle dog. You can see more pictures and videos of our fosters on our facebook page:  Sophia L'Orange Kitten Rescue All of our adoptable animals are cared for and assessed in foster homes (we do not have a shelter), up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV, before they are adopted. They have had de-worming medication as a standard of care and Flea/Tick/Ear Mite preventive treatment. Medical records will be released with the adopted pet. ##2188712##

Story
Donnie Thornberry, like his cartoon namesake loves to explore and find adventure but is also just a baby and will cry for assistance when he realizes he’s alone or in an unfamiliar area.  He loves to play especially with his people when they hold and flip around stuffed mice or feathers on a wand toys!! He can seem a little weary of new people at first and takes more time to warm up but comes around once he knows he’s safe and loved.  He melts into your arms and purrs so loud!  He loves to be held like a baby on his back and will stay like that for as long as you’ll allow!  He needs someone who can give him the time he needs to show just what an amazing kitty he is! Story
Mint was trapped outside with his siblings and made some socialization progress in foster care. Mint is taking his own pace in making friends with us but with the help of his kitty friends he has started to become more comfortable and curious! With continued socialization, we know Mint could blossom into a spoiled pet. We best believe Mint would do best in a home with no children and would have to have a feline companion(s) to show him the ropes. Mint is a young adult, neutered, UTD on vaccinations, FIV/FELV NEGATIVE and microchipped. If you are interested in Mint, please fill out a feline adoption application at https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=meridenhumanesociety&method=online_form_html&formid=28
