Story
Rome is 3 years old. She is curious, smart, fearless, playful and loves laps to nap in. She was originally my daughter's cat but she needs access to the outdoors. She was not happy being confined to an apartment. Once we took her in, she was much more relaxed and happy being able to go outside- she uses the dog door - since we took her in back in April 2025. She gets along great with our 2 dogs, even rubbing against them or sleeping with them. The reason we are having to rehome her is she is not getting along with one of our other cats. We do have another cat who she does not bother at all - basically ignores her. She will need access to the outdoors in her new home. She is very picky foodwise and will only eat 1 brand of wet food, and 1 brand of dry.

Story
Loki has been with me for a long time, I've had him since 2012. He does ok with dogs, buts it’s been a few years since he’s been around them and he does ok with cats. I have another cat that he lives with, but he does play rough and likes to chase her. He likes cuddling, he likes being with people and he used to do really well at the vet. My ex used to be very mean to him, so he flinches a bit and tends to run if you raise your voice. I kept him after the divorce, but I can’t keep up with the vet bills. He needs his shots and needs imaging for his stomach, since he vomits too often. I was happy to save him from my ex but I feel like I’m not giving him a good home because of his medical needs. The adoption fee is waive-able of course, I just don’t want him to end up in a bad home. He meows a lot, too, I know some people prefer quiet cats. He’s a little dog-like. He doesn’t like little kids much since he’s older now, but he used to love them.

Story
Artemis came to us under threat of going to a shelter. She is approx. 3years old and unfortunately only about 6 1/2lbs. When she came to me she was 3months out from having had kittens (they were born end of Aug 2025) and visibly underweight. We have been trying to put weight back on her, but she doesn't seem to like wet food. Despite their best efforts, none of my other cats have been able to get close to her, nor have my wife or I really. She's a very sweet girl, but I suspect she would feel the most comfortable as the center of attention with someone who's down for more of a shadow than a lap cat (at least for the first while). Lil Miss Artemis has very vibrant orange patches with salt and pepper stripes, a variation of torti that I've never seen. My only requirement is that she be spayed within 30days of her being adopted, as her heat cycles clearly distress her.

Story
Lyanna joined our family 7 years ago as a kitten. We found her at a black cat specific adoption event and were instantly charmed by her playful and outgoing personality. She is energetic, silly, and very loving to her chosen humans. She may take a bit to warm up, but once she does she can be a real lap potato. She's an anxious girl and needs a quiet, consistent household. She's currently on meds for anxiety and possible seizures. She occasionally has outbursts of hissing, swatting and charging. This started about a year ago when our other cat passed away, and we became pregnant. We think the changes in the household have been a little too much for her and she could use more attention than we can give her. She shows interest in going outside, though she's been indoor only up to this point. We're hoping that she can thrive in a home with someone who can meet her needs for attention and activity.

Story
I got echo in 2024 when I first moved out. She’s turning 11 this year, and was in a shelter for a couple weeks because her last owners said she wouldn’t stop escaping and couldn’t figure out why or how to take care of her. Since I’ve had her, she’s been very comfortable in our house and hasn’t wanted to leave at all. She’s very loving and she gets attached to one person more but is sweet to everyone. She definitely fits the “tortitude” stereotype and can be sassy but if you respect her boundaries she’s great. She doesn’t like being picked up or feeling restricted in any way so clipping her nails, taking her to the vet is a bit stressful but she’s trying her best. She’s VERY vocal, and the reason I’m giving her up is because I can no longer afford care for her and it hurts that I can’t be a better cat mom. In a new home, I’m just looking for someone who will love her and maybe a house with another cat. And just a more responsible pet owner who can get her the care she needs

Story
Meet McDonalds, a stunning tuxedo-clad sweetheart who is looking for his furever home. While he’s always up for a game of chase, his favorite activity is the slow, sweet process of becoming your best friend. He has a playful spirit and loves chasing feather wands. He’s seeking a quiet home where he can be the brave explorer he wants to be, at his own speed. He’s got a heart of gold and a playful spirit—he just asks for a little 'getting to know you' time before he shows off his best zoomies. ##2628022##
