Story
Allie is the cuddliest cat I've known in 30+ years of living with them. Lie down on the couch and in no time you'll find her at your belly being your little spoon. Allie is well-disciplined and never jumps on tables or countertops. She is incredibly comfortable with company - at house parties with 40+ people, you'll see her rubbing up against ankles and getting all the pets and attention she can get. She freakishly enjoys fairly rough petting, and she's almost dog-like in that manner. Tug her ear, cradle her like a baby, ruffle her scruff and chungles - she'll take it all happily. This made her particularly tolerant of our toddler. We are rehoming because with our toddler we simply aren't able to pay the same attention to the kitty as before. We also travel between SF and Seattle often for family, and constantly relocating is tough on a kitty. https://phs-spca.org/adopt/cats/#action_0=pet&animalID_0=20701235&petIndex_0=18

Story
We adopted Sardine from a rescue in mid-April, 2020. She was the sweetest, most curious, kind-hearted, affectionate, playful girl from the start. Sardine is 5 1/2 years old, and such a joy to have in our lives. Unfortunately my work is taking us to Europe, therefore I have made the very tough decision to try and find her a loving home in San Francisco, rather than subject her to the stresses of moving so far away. Sardine loves to stalk butterflies and lay in the sun in our safe, protected garden in Russian Hill, but spends 90% of her time indoors. We call her Dinie and she loves to curl up on the sofa and cuddle, is quite playful and curious about anything she might play with, and has responded well to all training. She does not scratch our furniture (we trim her nails carefully, regularly) and bathe her. Dinie does not like to be left alone for long hours, or overnight and has not responded positively to children or dogs. We suspect sardine would love a kitten/cat companion!

Story
Hello, I am Seymour, a very handsome 8 year old male tuxedo cat. While you are working, I will be your best pal -- sitting next to you and purring, and I would love to curl up at the end of your bed at night. I am very smart and can sit up and give you a fist bump for treats. I also particularly love a box or to play with you with a string! I am not a big drinker so I do well with special food to keep my kidneys at their best, or at a minimum with some no salt chicken broth mixed in with my food. I have been kind of stressed lately and so need a new home where I will thrive -- a quiet home with no children or other pets and with someone who will give me love and affection. Come meet me and you will want to take me home with you!! I come with a great enclosed cat box, toys, and my own food.

Story
I fostered Coco for my girlfriend until she could get back on her feet. She never did. I now have had him since 2022. I travel too much, have a small place and am a single Mom. Coco is very affectionate and loves people. He gets along with everyone including animals. I have a 2nd cat as well that I originally had before Coco. I would love for them both to find a loving home together if possible.

Story
Carrot was previously known as Starfire, I got her from my brother's friend, who gave her away because she didn't get along with his other cats. I have recently moved and Carrot is now staying in a temporary place, as I wasn't able to take her with me since my situation is unstable at the moment and I couldn't bring her, unfortunately. She is 5 years old, very sweet and affectionate once she opens up to you and can be quite clingy. She is very vocal and playful, she particularly loves to play with rolled up napkins. She is wacky, silly, and just so very lovable that it hurts me deeply to give her away. I recently lost my two cats to old age and illness, I thought Carrot would be a foster in my care but I came to love her. She has been moved around from place to place so much, it has made her anxious and scared. I was hoping I could provide a stable house for her but of course, life happened and I was forced to move. She will be your best friend, sleeping and cuddling with you all day.

Story
Bean was adopted in January 2023 from the Humane Society Silicon Valley in Milipitas, CA. She is now 2 years old. She has grown up to be a quiet and a shy cat. She loves her meal times, making biscuits, and playing with strings and the laser pointer. She enjoys sitting by the window or on the balcony to people watch or soak up the warm sunshine. She will cozy up next to you on the couch or the bed as you lay down. She can be left alone at home for 4-5 days if you want to travel. She takes time to warm up to people but once she does, she can be a precious and a loving kitty! Unfortunately, she has not been getting along with the other cats in her current home now. As much as I would love Bean to grow old with me, she would be much better suited in a single cat home. A loving home with no other pets will help Bean feel safe and relaxed.

Story
Hello! I got both of them as rescues when they were 6 months old. They are now close to a year old! Even though they're rescues, they have all the personality traits of the chartreux breed. They are rarely vocal but when they want to communicate, they'll do so with their eyes and chirps. They are great with people, and while they're quite smart and enjoy cuddling, they are also okay with being left alone all day (especially since they have each other!). Some other nice things about them: they are hearty and robust and very adaptable! They are littermates and love each other – Loona is female and Honda is male. They've been spayed and neutered, and I've gotten them their rabies and vaccine shot. They are litter trained - I have an automatic litter box for them

Story
Meet Luci, a beautiful 2-year-old short-haired grey tabby with mesmerizing big blue eyes. She came to me after being found on the street and has spent the last six months being an amazing mother to her two kittens. Now that they’ve found their homes, it's her turn! She’s a curious sweetheart who loves pets and chasing toys on a string, and she’s been wonderfully well-behaved. She’s litter box trained, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all her vaccinations. While she can be mildly skittish at times, she's surprisingly good with guests and doesn’t shy away from new people. Although she’s been an indoor cat since I started fostering her, I suspect she’d thrive as an indoor/outdoor cat in the right environment—my space just isn’t ideal for it. If you’re looking for a adorable, curious, and playful companion, this lovely lady could be the perfect fit! A small rehoming fee of $150 applies to help ensure she goes to a good home.

Story
This is little SloeBerry. She needs a new home asap! (Before December 13th!). She is very sweet and cuddly. She unfortunately lost her home and her person after a house fire and is looking for her special emotional support human. She is shy at first, but loves to cuddle and play and enjoys sunspots and windows to watch the birds. She adjusts well to regular routines. SloeBerry is 4 1/2 years old, fixed, indoor, and fully up to date on her vaccines.

Story
Tiny Bean and her brother Little Socks are bonded siblings. Tiny Bean is the sweetest girl and a little purr machine who loves to explore and play with her toys and her siblings. Tiny Bean and Little Socks were born outside in a litter of three and have lived in a home since they were six weeks old and have adjusted rather well to being inside. They are about 4,5 months old and have excellent litter box manners. Tiny Bean is fixed, microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas and fully vaccinated. She currently is indoor-only and more than anything, she loves to be petted. She is motivated by play and toys. Looking for a quiet home with understanding and patient humans who will give her time to adjust to her forever home.
