Story
Cap'n Morgan came to the rescue extremely traumatized and unhappy, with love and patience he now loves pets and head scratches-but refuses to be picked up. He is not aggressive to other cats, but especially loves Angel. He needs a home where he feel secure and with adopters willing to continue to work with him to bring out the sweet boy he is inside. He does have a bad eye that was damaged before his rescue. The vet does not think it is bad enough for removal and does not seem to cause him any pain or discomfort. It would be ideal to have him adopted with Angel.

Story
Lassen has been with us since he was very young. He, his brothers and Mama came in all together and have brightened up HART from the moment they came through our doors. Lassen is very affectionate and is 100% a lap kitty who loves to bury his head in your arms while he gets pets. Lasson would do great in a single home or with other kitty friends.

Story
Introducing Helen, aka “Helen the Melon,” a sweet girl who can be shy but loves affection. Helen came to us a little under a year ago and due to her health, has been on a diet ever since. Helen had some dental issues which left her with no teeth yet that doesn’t stop her love for food. We believe Miss Helen would do well in a quiet, single cat household or even with one other calm cat. Although she is not aggressive, we do not recommend her with kids as she can get scared easily.

Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Meet Matt, a shy yet sweet soul who arrived at the shelter with his brothers, Philip and Nolan. While his brothers have begun to open up, Matt remains cautious and reserved. However with the right amount of love and attention, there’s hope that he’ll blossom into a great cuddle buddy. Matt shows promise in his interactions with other cats, but his timid nature suggests that he would likely thrive best in a quiet home environment without children, where he can slowly build trust and form deep connections with his human companions.

Not good with kids, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Tang is a seasoned member of our feline family who has been with us for quite some time. As a lone ramger, Tang prefers a quieter environment as he can get terrorize against other cats who bother him while he’s in his favorite spots. Despite his indecent nature, he is truly and old soul with a heart of gold. Tang enjoys basking in the sun, sleeping and endless treats. While he may not be the best fit for a household with kids due to his preference for tranquility, Tang would make a devoted companion for someone who appreciates his unique charm and respects his need for a calm atmosphere.

Story
Domino is a very playful and spunky kitty who has the cutest little nub of a tail. She loves affection and is VERY food driven. She can get greedy with her food and tends to harmlessly growl munch while eating. Although she has not gotten into any fights, it might be best to be fed separate from other cats.
