Story
Hello Sedona,My name is Monkey and I am a 13 year old male grey feline who has had a rough start in life and I am still learning to trust the world around me. I would thrive in a forever home where I may hide at first, but with gentle encouragement and time... my true Nature will shine! I enjoy cozy hideouts and the quiet hum of a peaceful home. I would thrive in a calm environment where I am the only pet to receive your slow gentle rubs along my back. I would need an adopter who is a nurturer and someone who will be patient with me. I am neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on my vaccines. If I sound like a good fit for you and your family...I would love to spend the rest of my life with you! Story
I got her as a kitten from a shelter. She is seven and a half years old. She has always been an indoor cat so I never worried about shots except the initial ones. She lost her friend cat to cancer and I am too old to get second friend for her. I don’t want to die and leave them with no one to care for them. She is very lonely. I also found I’m allergic to cats. She loves to cuddle.

Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained,
Story
Inertia is one of three tortoiseshell sisters. Both of her sisters were immediately comfortable with people and loved attention. Inertia was the shy one in the litter. As she has become an adult she's had to be moved twice and this separated her from 24/7 contact with people. She is currently in a structure where she is fed, given fresh water, and her litter box is cleaned daily. But this has had a negative effect on her desire for social contact and she can be rather aggressive about avoiding contact. She needs a home where she can once again become accustomed to being in constant proximity to people, and from there, standard socialization tactics may prove to return her to a more social nature.

Story
Dirac was a feral adult cat living in dangerous conditions so I decided to give him a home. I unexpectedly had to move to where I can no longer keep him. I've had to move him to temporary property twice and each time eroded what trust he had developed. I've had times when he was in a tight area and he would allow me to pet him without hissing, growling or acting aggressively, but he's too shy to actually enjoy physical contact and I've lost access to the structure where he's living now, except for feeding, cleaning, etc. I will lose all access to that property in 2-weeks. I'm relatively confident that with time, he would learn to enjoy being around people, though to what degree he might begin to want physical contact I can't be certain.
