Story
Come meet Atlanta! This lazy boy would be the perfect couch potato! He loves to spend his days napping, and finding those perfect sun bathing spots around his home. Atlanta loves to give attention to his humans, but he's not 100% sure about kids just yet, so we recommend that children are taught to go slow with him until he's comfortable with them. Atlanta is very food motivated, which means he loves treats and some extra food, but he does mistake a lot of things for food he shouldn't. Atlanta has also been known to counter surf a time or two, so he will need patience from his new humans as he learns the rights and wrong of his new home. Despite his quirks, Atlanta is the perfect home body, and would love to find his forever home! Come meet him today!

Story
Hi I'm Duke I'm a 13 month old pitbull. I'm a very goofy boy who loves to play ball, catch and just play with my toys outside. I spend most of my time enjoying the outdoors with my sister. I love going on walks and I'm pretty good at staying by your side. I can walk by other animals and humans without acting crazy or bark 😊. I hate sharing food with my sister so I do have food aggression. I hate trash trucks they scare me. Unfortunately though I have other dogs in this house I'm just not happy with and having a hard time controlling myself around them and becoming very territorial with my parents. I've also just lived in an adult household my whole life and not sure how I would react around babies/children/kids. I love my family but it's getting to be too difficult for me to stay here. I have just recently been fixed. I'm looking for a only dog home who I can share their bed with :) I love to go to home Depot and shop around and love playing with my toys. I really am a loving dog 🐕

Lulu may look scared in her photos, but once she gets to know you, she really comes around! She loves other dogs, and they help her with her confidence. She will need to go to a home with other dogs already in the home. She is around a cat in her foster home too, and does fine around her. Outside in the yard, she prefers you to be with her still. She is a bit fearful if she hears a loud noise. With time and patience we think she'll start to feel more comfortable, but it is going to take some time. We are still learning more about her in her foster home, and will update her bio as we do!

Story
*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT *** Meet Floyd! He is a recent graduate of our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and he is now ready to show off his new skills! His new abilities include 'sit', 'wave', 'shake' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Floyd is a rough and tumble kind of dog, but at PACK he didn't find a dog that wasn't his friend. He may need gentle reminders to not jump on the other dogs and to not play so rough. Dogs his size are going to be the best playmate. He's also a leaner and leans into you for affection. He really wants attention and cuddles from his people. He can be mouthy with his love, and isn't a huge fan of his face being messed with. Due to this, Floyd can't go to a home with young children, under 10 years old. He also has a history of chasing cats, so he can't go to a home with cats in it. He may also be too much for small dogs, but seems fine with ones his size. He is house trained and kennel trained. Floyd has a personality that can make anyone's day. Some of his favorite things include freeze dried liver treats and a nice bone to chew on when you're relaxing at home. Apply to meet him, today!

Story
*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT *** Meet Anne! She is currently enrolled in our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and she is almost ready to show off her new skills! Her new abilities include 'sit', 'down', 'peek-a-boo' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Anne came to us from another Wyoming shelter, where she was being overlooked. We aren't sure why, because she is a smart, happy, and loving dog. Her handler says she loves to play hard and fast. She's good with other dogs, but some may not like her rough and tumble play style. She'll need to meet any potential new siblings beforehand. She has been known to chase cats in a previous home, so she cannot go to a house with cats. She doesn't particularly like children either, so a home without young children is a must. Anne seems to be completely house trained & does fairly well in a kennel. One quirk Anne has is eye contact.. she doesn't like direct eye contact when you first meet her. This is normal for most dogs though. If you go slow and let Anne approach you, without making direct eye contact she does a lot better. Anne really does deserve a home to call her own, as she's been let down before. If you know how to play tug of war, or can throw a ball for her to fetch, she may be your new best friend. Apply to meet her today!

Story
Opal is the best version of a house hippo. She's sweet as can be, and would very much like to be snuggled up on the couch with her humans. Her momma sadly passed away, so she's in search for someone to heal her broken heart. She could always be found enjoying a tasty snack on the couch with her mom. Because she got all the tasty treats.. she could stand to loose a couple pounds. Opal gets along well with other dogs and seems to be good around kids. She wagged her tail at our office kitty, then politely walked away. She has some skin allergies, which she may need a non chicken based food, and can get ear infections from time to time. But don't like that deter you! She's a lovely lady who deserves a chance. I mean, come on, just take a look at those pouty lips of hers!

Story
Molly is a sweet girl who loves attention, reassurance, and belly rubs.  Love and reassurance will strengthen her self-confidence. She is a bit shy and can be nervous around strangers until she gets to know them. Molly loves to go for walks and is very good on a leash. A harness may be a good choice for walks. She prefers quiet walks where she can avoid large numbers of people and dogs. At Doggy Daycare, she is familiar with the staff and gets very excited when she gets there. At the dog park, she can be a bit timid, especially if there are a lot of dogs there. She will let you know if she's uncomfortable and would prefer to go somewhere else. Molly has yet to experience around cats or other small critters.  At 2.5 years, she is still a (big) puppy with a lot of energy. She loves running around the yard and is starting to understand the concepts of playing fetch, but her favorite game is Catch Me If You Can. She loves toys. A fenced yard is recommended because she can be a curious wanderer.December 27, 2024, 3:50 pm

"It's close to midnight, And something SWEET's lurking in the dark... this is THRILLER!" Even though her name brings up Halloween vibes, our girl Thriller is the farthest thing from spooky, but she does enjoy doing some tricks for treats! Thriller loves people of all types, but her bouncy energy may be too much for tiny kiddos. Thriller would thrive in a home with a canine buddy to wrestle and play with, as she also loves to play with dogs. Come meet your new best friend in this gorgeous, sweet girl!

Story
Lucy may look like an older gal, but we think she's only around 3 years old. She has some pep in her step and we think she's just one that prematurely greyed. We do know she has some skin allergies, and gets the occasional ear infection. At this time, she is on Apoquel, a daily medication to help her skin. We do believe she may need to be on it lifelong. She does great with the other dogs, big and small in her foster home! She met cats here at the center and didn't seem to be fazed by them. Apply to meet this sweet girl, today!
