Story
Come meet Mr. Duke! Duke is a very sweet boy who is looking for a new home to call his very own. Duke has been very sweet with everyone at CAS, but he has let us know that he would not like to share the spotlight with any canine siblings. In his previous home, Duke figured out that he's not so keen on sharing things with another dog, this includes toys, treats, food, bedding, and attention of his owners. Duke would love someone that can take him out on regular walks, let him burn some energy, and play some fetch! He also listens pretty well and loves to cuddle. If you'd like to open your home up to Duke, and let his love shine bright, Come meet him today!

Story
*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT *** Meet Floyd! He is a recent graduate of our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and he is now ready to show off his new skills! His new abilities include 'sit', 'wave', 'shake' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Floyd is a rough and tumble kind of dog, but at PACK he didn't find a dog that wasn't his friend. Dogs his size are going to be the best playmate. He's also a leaner and leans into you for affection. He really wants attention and cuddles from his people. He can be mouthy with his love, and isn't a huge fan of his face being messed with. Due to this, Floyd can't go to a home with young children, under 10 years old. He also has a history of chasing cats, so he can't go to a home with cats in it. He is house trained and kennel trained. Floyd has a personality that can make anyone's day. Some of his favorite things include freeze dried liver treats and a nice bone to chew on when you're relaxing at home. Apply to meet him, today!

Story
*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT *** Meet Anne! She is a new graduate of our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and she is ready to show off her new skills! Her new abilities include 'sit', 'down', 'peek-a-boo' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Anne came to us from another Wyoming shelter, where she was being overlooked. We aren't sure why, because she is a smart, happy, and loving dog. Her handler says she loves to play hard and fast. She's good with other dogs, but some may not like her rough and tumble play style. She'll need to meet any potential new siblings beforehand. She has been known to chase cats in a previous home, so she cannot go to a house with cats. Children make her uncomfortable, so she'll need a home without young children. Anne is completely house trained & does well in a kennel. She also really enjoys snuggling up with her humans on the couch! Anne really does deserve a home to call her own, as she's been let down before. If you know how to play tug of war, or can throw a ball for her to fetch, she may be your new best friend. Apply to meet her today!

Story
Molly is a sweet girl who loves attention, reassurance, and belly rubs.  Love and reassurance will strengthen her self-confidence. She is a bit shy and can be nervous around strangers until she gets to know them. Molly loves to go for walks and is very good on a leash. A harness may be a good choice for walks. She prefers quiet walks where she can avoid large numbers of people and dogs. At Doggy Daycare, she is familiar with the staff and gets very excited when she gets there. At the dog park, she can be a bit timid, especially if there are a lot of dogs there. She will let you know if she's uncomfortable and would prefer to go somewhere else. Molly has yet to experience around cats or other small critters.  At 2.5 years, she is still a (big) puppy with a lot of energy. She loves running around the yard and is starting to understand the concepts of playing fetch, but her favorite game is Catch Me If You Can. She loves toys. A fenced yard is recommended because she can be a curious wanderer.December 27, 2024, 3:50 pm

Story
Zion is a very good boy and a dream to have at home—he’s fully house-trained, quick to potty on walks, and crate-trained for sleeping. You can trust him to relax when left alone, and he walks well on a leash. He’s also a pro at "sit" and "down" and is working on mastering "stay." With his love for treats, training with him is fun and rewarding! This sweet and well-mannered pup is laid-back and affectionate. He loves being around people, cuddling up for a cozy nap, and greeting new friends with a wagging tail. And if his lovable personality isn’t enough, Zion’s slightly goofy overbite gives him the most endearing expression—sometimes his little tongue even peeks out, adding to his charm! It’s just one of the many things that make him so special. Whether you’re looking for a walking buddy or a snuggle companion, Zion is your guy. If you’re ready to welcome this lovable, easygoing pup into your home, reach out today!

Story
Meet Harlow! Harlow is a 2-year-old pitty mix who has only ever wanted to make sure everyone loves him. If someone looks sad, he'll bring them one of his chewed-up toys to cheer them up. He loves any and all physical activity, including hiking, jogging, and long walks! He knows a ton of commands and loves learning new ones. Hide-and-seek is his favorite indoor game. He makes the perfect pillow to cuddle in the early morning and evening. Harlow is looking for an active home that enjoys going for long walks or hikes and having fun within the home. He thrives with being given direction and structured play. He would do best with older children as he tends to forget his size when overly excited.January 15, 2025, 4:13 pm

Story
Lucy may look like an older gal, but we think she's only around 3 years old. She has some pep in her step and we think she's just one that prematurely greyed. We do know she has some skin allergies, and gets the occasional ear infection. At this time, she is on Apoquel, a daily medication to help her skin. We do believe she may need to be on it lifelong. She does great with the other dogs, big and small in her foster home! She met cats here at the center and didn't seem to be fazed by them. Apply to meet this sweet girl, today!
