Tilly is the unfortunate product of a breed that gets judged too quickly without giving them a chance, plus she’s black and the least desirable color for adoptable dogs. Tilly was returned to HFAH due to tragic family changes. They are devastated and want only the best for her.

With his big heart and constant happy smile, he’s the kind of dog who instantly wins you over. This affectionate boy loves being around his people, truly believes he’s a lap dog, and insists on sleeping on his foster’s bed—he’s all about closeness and companionship. Hemi is fine-tuning his potty skills and is doing well overall. He has no food issues, takes treats nicely, and absolutely loves playing with his foster dog siblings. While his crate isn’t his favorite place, Hemi will go in with a little gentle encouragement. He would do best in a home with older children, and he has not had experience with cats. Hemingway is smart and motivated. Meet Popsicle! 🍦 This sweet girl is a golden eyed, beautiful boxer mix, and she’s finally learning what love really feels like. Popsicle spent over two years in a neglected rural shelter before being rescued — she was just a name on a forgotten list. But even after all that time, she’s full of joy, wiggles, and affection. Now thriving in her foster home, Popsicle is gaining confidence every day. She’s goofy, playful, and so eager to be part of a family. Whether she’s trotting alongside you on an adventure or curled up by your side for a snuggle, she just wants to love and be loved. She gets along well with other dogs but she prefers to keep high value things to herself so she utilizes her kennel for high value items. Popsicle is in fact so happy she has her tail amputated due to injury from constant wagging! This girl has come so far. All she needs now is a forever home where she’ll never be overlooked again.
