Story
Chance is a ~3yo male, 45lb pitty mix who was found living emaciated on a 2nd floor balcony. He was seen by some neighbors and brought to safety and has worked hard getting healthy in his foster home! He is now ready to start his search for a forever family!! Chance is still learning how things work living in a home and reciving love but is surprisingly is a very loving a trusting boy. He seeks out love and attention for everyone and is the sweetest boy. He is just coming out of his shell so he will need a family who can guide him and help him learn appropriate behaviors. Chance is eager to please and is very food motivated, so he catches on very quickly! Chance will need a fenced in yard with 6 foot privacy fences or an owner who will keep Chance on leash and safe, because Chance can and will jump a short fence and is still nervous and has the potential to bolt. He has shown that he will resource guard by growling his high value toys or food, he has not attempted to snap or bite but due to this behavior Chance will need a home with no children and an owner who will work with him on his resource guarding. Chance has not had an opprotunity to be around dogs or cats yet, but we hope to do some meet and greets in the near future! Story
My adoption has been generously sponsored by a member of the community! Now all I need is you!·Intake Reason: Transfer from MADACC-Weight: 62 lbs Known with: ·Cats: Unknown ·Dogs: Does well in the rough and rowdy WCHS playgroup ·Kids: Unknown; Would likely do best with older kidsYahoo, my name is Malcom and I am a high-octane and spunky guy. I was a stray in Milwaukee before I came to WCHS to search for my new forever home. I must confess that some manners training would do me good; I get rambunctious, jump up onto people and can be quite mouthy. I also need to learn to accept treats more gently; I love eating and am too grabby with rewards. Speaking of my fondness for food, I tend to eat too quickly and inhale my meals. It would be best to use a slow-feed bowl or sprinkle part of my kibble in a foraging mat to help me take more time and enjoy my meals. I am an active lad and will need plenty of exercise each day to keep me healthy and happy; perhaps you could give me a job or two. I need some practice walking more politely on a leash, so it would be lovely to take a long hike every day; maybe I could even carry a backpack. I am very playful and might excel at a variety of canine sports; I would love any activity that we could do together. I am intelligent and will ‘sit’ when you ask me to. It would be grand to learn more human words from you and should do well with patient and positive training techniques. I am an affectionate boy and would love to be your constant companion and BFF; I promise to be devoted to you forever and will try to make you proud. I have a zest for life and would love to share my life with you; my puppyish demeanor will make me a joy to be around. Stop by to meet me in person and discover how dynamic I am.#2

Story
Hi I’m Wrigley, and I'm an almost 4 month old female, San Antonio Special (mixed dog)! My mom, me, and my siblings were dumped on the Southeast Side of San Antonio, when we were about 6 weeks old, and a nice lady took care of us, but only had outside space for us. My mom passed away, and my brothers and sisters found homes. I'm the only one left. I am a puppy who's lived outside, until 2 weeks ago, so I am still learning. My foster mom says I am a quick learner, though. I've learned a lot in just a few weeks. I've learned that my kennel is a safe & comfortable space, that "in" means I need to get in my kennel because it's bed time or my foster mom is going somewhere. I've also learned, "outside", which means it's run around the yard playtime with my foster brother and foster sister, and I'm learning it means I should probably go potty outside too. I am a puppy, so accidents still do happen, but with time and patience, I'll go potty outside all the time in a few weeks. I'm starting to hear the word "sit" a lot lately, and when I put my bottom on the floor my foster mom gives me a blueberry. I like living in a house and love to cuddle on the couch or bed with my foster mom and dad, but I love playing outside, too. I have foster cat brothers and sisters, too, and I watch them, but don't really play with them, because they can skippity pap me. I'm good with kids of all ages! Again, I'm a puppy, so I may need to be reminded of my boundaries. Overall, I'm a good puppy. I'm eager to learn and to find my family. My adoption fee is $195 local or $395 out of state with transport and includes current shots, microchip and spay. If you are interested in adopting Wrigley please complete the adoption application at the link below. Story
If being sweet is a crime, throw me in jail! I'm Harriet, and my foster mom says I'm the sweetest girl that's ever existed. I'm estimated to be a two year old pittie mix who weighs about 45lb, and I just know I love you already. I'm a very spunky girl, and love walks, hopping around the yard, and tearing apart my stuffies. I'm still working on my manners, but, hey, I've never had to have them before, so I'm allowed to stick my foot in my mouth on occasion. I get along with the dogs in my foster home, who are all similar in size to me. I love kids, too! Cats and small dogs are for chasing, so I'd prefer not to have any in my forever home...unless they like being chased! I'm potty trained and do great in my crate at night. I'm told that my cuddle game is out of this world and my snores are legendary. Don't miss out - apply today!

Adoptable 💙Peaches💙 is looking for her forever home! 🥰 Peaches was found as a stray in Georgia and soon found herself at the local animal shelter. She just made the trip up to Wisconsin on 10/26 and is doing really well in her foster home! 🐾 She is a silly, playful pup who loves other dogs and her people. She gets along with all the dogs she has met and does a good job matching energy to older dogs or younger puppies. She enjoys running around the yard, playing with toys, and going for walks with her foster family. She did great trick-or-treating with her foster family and was amazing with all the kids and commotion. She also gets along with cats. She is crate trained, working on potty training, good on the leash, and working on off-leash recall. She is not reactive over toys, treats, food, etc. She is an overall good girly who would be great for someone looking for a medium energy dog! She is also quite petite for a terrier mix and is only around 30 lbs at 7 months old. If you are interested in adopting, please check out our website and fill out an application: www.muttlife.org

Story
3 month female Hi, I’m Raven! I’m a sweet little puppy with a beautiful brindle coat and lots of love to give. I was found as a stray, so I don’t really know much about my past, but I’m excited to start a new chapter with a family of my own. Even though I’m still a puppy, I’m already learning so much every day. I love to play, explore, and cuddle—basically, I’m up for anything that involves fun and attention! I’m still figuring out the world around me, but I’m a quick learner and eager to please. If you’re looking for a playful, loving puppy to add to your family, I might be the perfect match! With a little patience and plenty of belly rubs, I’ll grow up to be the best companion ever. Let’s make some memories together—are you ready to take me home? -------------------- She is currently in a high-kill shelter in Georgia and urgently needs our help! She needs an ADOPTER or a temporary FOSTER home so she can catch a ride with Mutt Life Dog Rescue of Wisconsin on Saturday, January 11th, 2025 to Cedarburg, Wisconsin. If nobody steps up for her, she will be left behind in the shelter, and we don't want her to miss this important chance for a better life. Let's come together to give her the future she deserves! —--------------------------- Thank you for considering adopting from Mutt Life Dog Rescue of Wisconsin. We are a foster-based rescue in South Eastern Wisconsin. We partner with several high-kill shelters in rural Georgia to support dogs in desperate need of help. By rescuing them from shelters, we not only save their lives but also open up space for other animals in need, helping to reduce the heartbreaking number of pets that face euthanasia. Together, we can make a difference in their lives and offer them hope for a brighter future. All dogs come with a certified vet inspection, up-to-date vaccines, flea/tick, and heart-worm preventatives. We cover partial reimbursement for spay/neuter costs if they have not already been fixed.
