Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Enzo is an old soul who has the sweetest disposition. His eyes show his deep desire for connection with humans, and he will appreciate a patient home that will give him the months he needs to adjust. He has come so far since entering our care; he was pulled from a local shelter who rescued him from a life on his own, having very little human contact as a young puppy. Enzo trusts and loves other dogs very much and is learning not all humans wish to cause him harm. He is attached to his foster family (adults and children) and trusts them. Despite his days being full of learning new things, he has been so sweet and patient, considering everything is a new experience. Enzo initially did not like being put on a leash, but after taking long daily leash walks with his foster family, he has come to love them and walks with his tail held high. Enzo would love to have a canine companion. Enzo's pictures are deceiving. He is a petite guy at only 40lbs. Enzo is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, tested heartworm negative and on heartworm and flea/tick prevention.  * This dog's adoption fee is $275Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in this animal? The first step is an application, which can be completed at www.cvrrescue.org/adoption-applications/. The adoption fee helps cover a portion of the care provided for our animals, including spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm testing for dogs, FeLV/FIV combo testing for cats, deworming, age-appropriate vaccines (including rabies vaccine), and any medical care received while in our care. All cats and dogs are on flea/tick and parasite prevention for the duration of foster care. Notes about puppies: Adopters can expect a new puppy to have accidents, chew things they shouldn't, and have other normal, energetic puppy issues until they are trained, including jumping, mouthing, and general youthful naughtiness. If you experience puppy issues, please feel free to contact us; we’re happy to offer guidance. Also, if a puppy is a mixed breed, we cannot guarantee an adult weight. If your residence has weight restrictions or if you’re looking for a specific adult weight, we don't recommend applying for a mixed-breed puppy. We also offer rehoming services for pets currently owned by individuals. In these cases, we list the animal as a courtesy to the owner, and the animal is not currently in the care of CVRR, such that we can make no representation or guarantee of the animal’s behavior, demeanor, or health assessment. All information listed for a courtesy-posted animal is provided by the current owner and should be verified by any potential adopter. CVRR is a nonprofit organization. We have no paid staff, and all applications are reviewed and processed by our volunteers. Please be patient and understand that it may take 7-14 days to process your application, check your references, and gather follow-up info. You can expedite the process by providing accurate phone numbers and email addresses for your vet and landlord references, and by answering each question fully. Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if the animal picks you, too. If it seems the adoption will be a good match for all, we will collect the adoption fee and complete the adoption contract. CVRR is a NO KILL rescue organization, and we have a LIFETIME COMMITMENT to all of our animals. If for any reason the adoption does not work out, the animal must be returned to CVRR. We will reevaluate the animal and choose a new home based on the best fit for it. January 6, 2025, 5:23 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Junior is a sweet boy who loves to snuggle and play, and he is the gentlest pup of his litter. He's named for the third level of Girl Scouts, which even as a boy he supports. He is all white except for his black nose and some dark spot areas on his ears. His mother is a beautiful, very gentle, sweet, white (with tan patches) purebred (with papers) pit bull terrier who weighs about 65-70 lbs. We were told that Junior's dad is also some sort of pit bull mix. *Junior's adoption fee is $275.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in this animal? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.CVRR is listing this dog as a COURTESY to the actual owner. This dog is not currently in the care of CVRR, and CVRR makes no representations or guarantees for the animal's behavior, demeanor, or health assessment. All information listed has been given by the dog's current owner and should be verified by any interested potential adopter. Avery is a 4-year-old pit mix weighing about 50 pounds. She’s a beautiful, affectionate girl who has come a long way in her journey but is now looking for a calm, loving home where she can thrive. Avery’s Story Avery spent the first half of her life at the shelter before being adopted three months ago. She has made significant progress, thanks to her loving family and a dedicated trainer. However, despite all efforts, Avery’s anxiety and difficulty peacefully coexisting with the family’s 9-year-old dog have led to the heartbreaking decision to rehome her. Her current family wants nothing more than to see Avery continue to blossom in the right environment. Why You’ll Love Avery Cuddly and Affectionate: Avery is a lovebug who enjoys snuggling up with her people. Leash-Trained and Playful: She walks well on a leash, responds to commands like "sit," and loves to play. Laid-Back at Heart: After playtime, Avery loves nothing more than to relax and nap. What Avery Needs Avery would do best in a home: Without other dogs or with a highly experienced adopter who can manage her anxiety. With a patient and understanding family willing to continue her training. Where she can feel safe, loved, and supported as the incredible companion she is. If you’re ready to give Avery the forever home she deserves, you’ll be rewarded with endless love and loyalty. Let’s help this sweet girl find the peaceful and happy life she’s been waiting for!    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 25, 2024, 10:28 pm
