He’s currently 87lbs, but his fosters are working on helping him get back down to an ideal 70lbs. Meaty loves his people and his emotive face will melt your heart every time. He loves to play tug, fetch, and is an expert at getting toys’ squeakers. Meaty currently lives with a female dog and does very well with her – he is playful, but also respects her cues and gives space when needed. Don’t let his robust body fool you – he is quite speedy and loves doing laps around the yard. Meaty is food motivated which helps with his training and he is working hard on his leash skills. He is non-reactive to other humans or dogs on walks while he is on the move. If he’s close to another new dog, he will express excitement.
